I'm in the exact same boat. Does the order status say that anything has occurred? All mine says is:

Back from a long weekend.

Been in touch with the store I ordered from since Thursday. Called every day at least once (except Sunday), figured no news would come through.

Told when I purchased on 6/5 that 6/28 was the given ship date, but I'd most likely have it in hand on the 25th. Each call has resulted in this: 'Well, your order was set to ship on the 25th, but there's no tracking number yet. It should show up by tomorrow. Give us a call then and we'll have it for you!' Got the same response all weekend. I called twice today (Monday). First time was around noon and was told 'It should have shipped Friday, but it'll definitely be out today. Call us back after 6p and we'll have that tracking number for you." Called around 7. "Nope, no number yet. It should have been shipped on Friday. Not sure why it hasn't gone out. Let me check. (on hold for 3 minutes) Yeah, no tracking number yet, but it probably went out today. Call back in the morning for the tracking number.... Oh, you have overnight shipping? Oh, yes, I see that now. Well you should have your phone tomorrow!... Well, no sir, there's no tracking number yet, but if it was supposed to go out Friday, I'm sure it went out today."

They are getting a call from me tomorrow. If they have no tracking number for me, sure as hell I'm getting an account credit, especially since I cut the long weekend short by a day to be here to sign for the phone tomorrow...

Shipped 6/28 from West Chester, PA
Due to arrive today by 10:30am.

Shipping classified as "Priority Overnight."
 
I just joined up here a couple days ago and am waiting for my shipment, I ordered 6/9. I hope that quality isn't being sacrificed to get all these phones out to us promptly....I'd rather wait another week or two than be stuck with something that is less than perfect.....but maybe that's just me, in about 8 years I've only had 4 phones!
 
Ordered 6/6 online was told shipping 6/24 originally called last week and yesterday, told would ship 6/28 and would be here Wed. Called at 6 am this morning, order had not shipped, placed on hold was told she was calling the Internet order department to see where my order was, after a brief hold she tells me that they dont open until 8 says she will call me before her first break at 9 am to tell me the status. ( lets face it i know the status "Not Shipped")

I now sit hold my breath looking at my current phone waiting for it too ring. I'm turning Blue. (honestly Im kidding as I dont expect a call or my phone) By 9 am if there is no news Ill be calling to cancel. Hope that moves someone up in the waiting queue. There BS is just not worth it, I will wait until they get the phone right. Reminds me of my Storm, I had to have it when it first came out, couldn't wait, big mistake, have had 2 replacements due to the fact that the first phones always suck, they use us as the quality control. This time I will be patient and wait till they get it right or perhaps see how the X turns out. Good luck to all.
 
I'm just incredibly (no pun intended) tire of contacting phone and store reps and getting the run-around. I'm sure they aren't in a position to do anything more than they have, but it's still frustrating.

My wife and I both bought new phones in-store on 6/5...she got a Motorola Droid and I ordered the Incredible. She walked out with her phone and I'm still waiting, almost a month later. Plus, we passed up the buy-1-get-1-free deal on the Droids because I had to have the Incredible...

I sure hope this phone is worth it! :p
 
Another interesting thing is that I received a text message a few days ago from VZW saying that my phone would ship within the next five days.

That text message has since disappeared from my inbox, whereas all the other VZW billing notifications and personal texts are still there... :eek:
 
Ugh today is an early work day for me....630a to 230p I'm hopin to have some shipping info when i get home at least. *crosses fingers*

Shipping notification - 6/25 (Standard FedEx Overnight)
Expected Delivery - 6/28 by 3 PM
Delivered - 6/28 around noon

Haha, I was playing with it so much yesterday that I forgot to let you guys know my delivery date! Just hold on a little longer! It's well worth the wait!

Also, for those who are worried about getting one of the Sony Super TFT LCD models, my DInc is hardware version 002, and from comparing it to my Zune HD it appears to still have an AMOLED display.
 
Talk to Verizon, they are saying there is now a 5 day delay on the incredible.

Yeah they have been telling us that for a few days now....and it is their standard answer when you call instead of actually looking up your order first. They may as well answer the phone with, "Thank you for calling Verizon Wireless, where we have a 5 day delay on the Droid Incredible orders that should have already shipped, my name is...."

I had a very similar experience, expect that when I called yesterday I was informed that even though I verbally placed the order on 6/3 with an initial promise to ship by 6/24, which BTW VZ telemarketing called me and got me to upgrade, that my order was not processed until 6/9 and that my Inc wouldn't ship until 6/30! I went off, got a supervisor on the phone and the only thing that she could do was upgrade me from 2day to overnight shipping.
The interesting part of this was that even though I tried on a couple of calls last week to get an upgrade in shipping, every regular rep made is sound as that was impossible. So the rep had me on hold for a good 5 min, when she claimed that she was on the phone with FedEx, in order to upgrade the shipping. Ok, so if the phone is already at FedEx, why couldn't she have them send it yesterday, considering that her company screwed up my order. I read on here earlier that FedEx probably maintains their stock, and then FedEx releases the stock based on some schedule. This is BS!
After initially threatening to cancel my order and leaving VZ, I've since requested that they waive the $100 mail in rebate. Expecting a call back today, we'll see how that goes.
 
Nice to see another storm 1 owner jumping ship. I should have mine this week and can't wait to throw my storm out my 7th floor office window.

I did not totally hate the storm, but the dinc is night and day better. The web browsing is light years ahead of any thing rim has. I wanted an Verizon iPhone untill the day i tired out the dinc in the Verizon store. I found that I much prefer Android over ios.
 
6/8'er here. Today is supposed to be the big day (though it seems quite obvious that it won't be). Have any of you other 6/8 people gotten any kind of consistent responses? Every official word I have gotten from Verizon has said it will ship today, but it seems like they are going off old information. I have seen reports of everything from 5-10 day delays on here so I am definitely starting to worry about just how much longer this will take. I will be calling to try and get some kind of credit in the next couple of days (that is if it doesn't ship out). I just think it is a bit ridiculous that they have no problem charging our cards or accounts the day of the order, and yet they haven't had any kind of communication with us regarding delays or problems. :confused:
 
I am a 6/8'er to in north carolina .When I heard of them losing someones order I called CS last night .I remained nice actually this isn't a vzw issue as much as it is an htc/samsung issue and has turned into an embarrassment for vzw.

She told me (I hope shes wrong, and I get it sooner) my phone wont ship until 7/8 or I will get it 7/8 I forgot which now :) but longer then the date promised when ordered . I was suppose to get it today .

PS: alot of the delay depends on what you live some have more of a delay then other parts, seems like this changes around too giving meaning to "supply and demand"..This phone shouldnt have been released until supplies where better but the screen issue is ALL samsung

Minor update: 6/6 online order, promised ship date of 6/28. Called today, did not ship. Asking for credit and supervisor will call me back.

One good thing to note is Froyo is officially released. I'm hoping that HTC is spending time trying to resolve a few minor issues (battery life, email causing memory to get low, etc) and by the time I get my phone an update is around the corner with Froyo and some fixes!
 
After getting vz to upgrade me, the rep told me theres a month wait for the dinc. Im hoping shes wrong, Im not sure how much longer my Env3 will last in the condition that it's in.
