I've managed to get back to my 5-7-day battery life (to remind you, I turn the phone off each night, it is on ca. 15-16h per day). I tricked the Fast Dormancy Service with the use of Smart Actions.
I've set an action which turns off my 3g/hspa+ data transfer when my screen is off as well. This means that the Fast Dormancy cannot turn on and drain the battery, and while the screen is off I don't use data transfer anyway. Everything syncs when I turn on the screen...

i send u PM, i have same problem in Poland and i think i found solution without using Smart Actions :), try reflash KK again using before clean wipe cash, and delete frase GETVAR from xml file of the KK firmware

Is anyone having a problem downloading updating any apps on the Play Store since the update. The apps say they are installing but no movement is being made.

Thanks

Hey there.
Sebastian, thanks for information, I'll see to that.
Generally, I have one more question. Motorola's update site (and some of your posts here as well) are showing 2 versions of 4.4.2 for Droid RAZR Maxx HD.
182.46.10.XT926.Verizon.en.US
183.46.10.XT926.Verizon.en.US
What's the difference between them apart from the version number? I have the first one (182...)

It's really touchy(read almost impossible) to get it to swype over to get the plus screen don't pull down first just keep trying on the main unlock screen eventually like one time out of ten it will go where you want it but so far it sucks, it's not easy access like it used to be it's just crap.

I hate the kitkat update!!

As others have said, it appears that the phone is staying awake all the time. I tried disabling apps to see what let the phone sleep, and it appears that the messaging app is at least partially responsible. Try to disable that app and see if it helps. Unfortunately, you won't get any SMS though...

I was told by Verizon to drain my battery and then recharge it. After doing so, my battery life returned to 2-3 days between charging.
