Essential Order and Shipping Thread

I still haven’t received any word back from them from either of my 2 emails sent this week. This really doesn’t give me much confidence for support moving forward. The phone better be awesome.

Im sat here with a lot less money than I should have in my bank, waiting on hearing whether a phone I paid for that I should have had 2 days ago even exists, being blanked by Essentials Twitter feed, and expected to be happy with a generic 'it will ship soon probably, one day, maybe in the not too distant future... we hope' email that you get in response to any question you ask!
P1ss poor customer service. We can accept slipped dates, but it requires them to tell us they have slipped rather than putting their fingers in their ears and doing a communal 'lalalalal' until we all go away.

So now it's 7-10 days...Before it was 7. Next it will be within 30 days. Matters not, they should not take the money till shipment....Thats standard stuff, they even say it on the website. But let me tell you, they took my money Tuesday. Have not heard one word.

Its just another stall......They do this on Friday to give us hope. Soon as someone post's an email with tracking number... then it's real. Otherwise it's just more of the same.
Glad to hear at least something. Would like to see it ship today and get it soon. If it does ship today we won't get it until like Tuesday.
Would have been nice if they would have given all the day one orders free 1 day shipping. Maybe we'll get some free swag at least. Anyone go to any of the first look events? Did they hand out anything?
It's another stall tactic....If that really were the case.... they would just send an email with tracking info.

I can GUARANTEE YOU none of us will see that email today. Sorry im so pessimistic, I was not in this mindset on Wednesday. The more i have read here the more ive determined they are playing all of us.

One very important rule in business.....UNDER PROMISE AND OVER DELIVER. They seem to be doing just the opposite at Essential.
Don’t think they’re playing us, as in trying to steal our money, but they definitely have a customer support problem and communication problem which instills very little confidence in whatever message they try to put out there.
I’m sure the phone exists and sooner or later one will be showing up at my house, but they need to get a handle on this because now when they say stuff like fast updates or more modules are coming, you sort of have to question it.
I'm just hoping they are not following the Valve business model where no one has anyone to answer to.
I lost interest ordered a O5 and its coming on Tuesday.
