the NS4G is a great device but the radio issues and wifi are too much.. You cant enjoy the full potential of a phone if you internet or wifi suck.. I know a phone is just suppose to make phone calls and text, but in todays era cell phone live around the internet. If the internet works when it wants or it constantly drops thats a big down fall

June 24th looks like the Launch date for the Evo 3D and i am actually considering returning my NS4G and waiting the 2 weeks.. My 30 days come to and end next week so i have to make a decision quick.

is anyone else considering to return the nexus for the 3D.. and why?

no. because on June 29th EVO forums will light up with "My Evo3D sucks because ......"

LMBO!!!!:D

Agreed... and the first post will be...something like this..."How many of you are returning your Evo 3D's and going back to the Nexus?"

Absolutely... But if you are going to have to sit and wait for a fix on a phone... might as well be the latest and greatest.

Vanilla Android isn't "that" important to me.

At least you won't be the only person that returns their Nexus then complains about how long it takes for HTC to roll out Ice Cream Sandwich though ;-)

I will be keeping my Nexus. To many features I want over the Evo 3D. Only thing really going for the Evo 3D is the dual core but most makers can even get the dual core to work correctly. Nexus S for me!

That's OK I'll take properly functioning WiFi and 3G over Ice Cream Sandwich though.

Ice Cream Sandwich will perform like crap just like Gingerbread unless they address the signal issue...

It was a joke....

Sorry you're having signal issues. I'm not having any signal problems so I'll be keeping my Nexus. Hell, I like it so much I think I'd change carriers if Sprint decided they were not going to carry the Nexus series any longer! And I've been with them for 15 years...

The EVO 3D is nice, but I am loving my Nexus S 4G. I'm not giving this thing up for a while (until the next Nexus comes out).

I just read that they are pushing Gingerbread to the EVO starting June 6th. I wonder what will happen then?

Agreed, since my update was not this June, and if the Next Nexus is on another carrier, I will switch.:-$

definitely going to get a Evo 3D, I will end up rooting my phone anyway, **** I rooted my Nexus, non rooted phones are lame, no matter what they are.

Never would consider it. I rooted my S and the signal issues vanished so it is a software issue. Also New HTC phones seem to have a reoccurring screen falling out problem. I'd take a poorly programed radio over the "latest and greatest" missing a screen.

Latest and greatest, lmfao funniest thing I have read all day, well that or non rooted phones are lame, anyways I will stick with my nexus and future nexus devices from now on. Their is a reason they call them a reference device :p

Ok man lets here it! I will root the hell out of this thing if it fixes the signal issues!! Can you please give me an idea as to what and how? I have never rooted an android phone so its all new to me. thanks!

No... The EVO 3D would just be too big for my pocket and I can imagine the battery life being terrible.. I'll wait for the update for the Nexus S..

could you elaborate on the rooting? what'd you use? 3G/4G/wifi speeds all up to par? spotty connectivity gone?

more importantly, does that group know what exactly fixed the issue?
