I'm back after upgrading...everything works perfectly except I had to uninstall and reinstall swype. The stock browser is much faster than dolphin hd now!

Did you have the Swype Beta? Can you still download the beta? I love and would miss Swype if I lost it... LOL..

Yeah I actually did see that bullet point... I had a feeling they were (and posted some thing of sorts earlier in the day) pushing this release out to some employees and other select people to test it out for problems to report back and they will tweak it from there....

I have it on my SD card I just still have not come to grips with pulling the trigger..... Might just wait for the OTA...

when Sprint releases the official one, it may be build xxx.xx.xx.5 instead of xxx.xx.xx.3 - you will be able to update to the newest one when they release it.

Yea you can still have it. You have to remove swype and then launch swype installer to get the 2.2 version.

nope those are in a folder on the card, they are fine.

it should and it will say at the top. Clear user data press volume up. cancel press volume down.

Exactly. All I see is whining already and can just see what 8/3 will be like.

It's a full update opposed to a patch so it will blow any other instances of Android.

<<< I am pretty sure they didn't expect people to be using the xda version of 10.1 on their EVO... Prolly a good thing that the forum junkies get a hold of it first to iron out the issues.... Just a thought.

Try removing Swype through manage applications...keeping the swype installer...and then relaunch the installer. It will ask for your user name/password and download the correct version for 2.2
