The support page on Sprint's website (linked just above your post) shows a 7/30 release date. I'm not sure how to argue the semantics of that any other way.

Nice find. Hopefully this will put our internal debate on if the update is going to be available today at rest.

I think my update software is broken. I left the HTC Software update running for an hour last night and all it says was "checking". Same thing today. Once it's truly available I suppose a hard reset wouldn't kill me.

Since there's nothing better to do for the next 10 mins... Most announcements to worldwide users state the time in standard time so time zone conversion calculations work. If you happen to be in a daylight savings zone, add another hour.

Internal documentation release date? Man im with you, I want it now, but as the clock keeps ticking, it seems more than likely that they mean August 3rd is when people will get OTAs and August 3rd is when nerds like us can click update.

Guys, I doubt it's coming today. Makes no sense. First, the press release says Tuesday, not today. There happens to be a document online that shows today but it doesn't say the time either. Second, why on earth would they do a major update on a Friday afternoon? Who is going to be there to help users/make software fixes when the ineveitable problems occur?

The manual update will be available today is what they said. They will start notifying people on Tuesday.

I'm not saying it will happen for sure, but it's been stated officially as such. The noon thing was a leaked document, which means nothing really.

True. I hope we get it today, but i hate being let down. Maybe this is a good thing? Instead of getting it today and wasting my weekend away, i wont get it today and ill waste my weekend away getting drunk and chasing tail I never seem to land?
