Is anyone having issues with the latest beta release that was sent out this morning. I cannot get it to work. I rolled back to the Feb 18th version, and it works. With the latest version I tried everything, supercharged, portrait, landscape, different X-res and y-res values, and different combinations of all and couldn't get it to work. I also restarted the phone, and tried again. I'm on a 52 inch Curtis Tv, Fresh Rom with the custom kernel flashed.

After playing with it for about an hour I found the only reliable way to get it working on my phone was to just wait on it. Anytime I changed a setting in the program it quit. I tried punching buttons changes res, everything. If I just ignored it for a little bit it would come on.
After the screen was on the tv it works flawlessly.

lil laggy on my 42" lg nice and snappy on extra 37" emerson every thing i tested worked great (thanks to second apk from email)..rockplayer, nfs shift, home run battle(had a lil flash problem) play-on, and qik and tango ,

This must be the 2nd coming of Jesus. I have been wanting this ever since I got the Evo. I thank you greatly for the time you've donated to make the Evo all that is supposed to be. Once this is in final release i will defiantly be donating. I am willing to test. Please put me on your list when you find time. Bless you and your family. 
The correct apk is working near flawlessly for me Sam. No fiddling with it at all to get it to work. The only problem I encountered was going to turbo mode. The first toggle the screen went blank, toggle off then back on, screen came on.
could you give some suggestions on what type of values to put in xres and yres? The default values for me is clipping the edges of the screen just a tad.
I don't know about everyone elses phone but on mine, everything that tries to play video with the stock player automaticly outputs to hdmi. all I have to do is stop your service and let it play native but, the quality on the stock player sucks compared to using full hdmi.

702 can you check if the LG has an image processing engine. The lag I have found to be due to that, not from the app itself which is why it mirrors perfectly on other TVs.

Its good to hear things are coming along. I have AOSP Rom so no luck for me.
Quick ? orrebmas. I noticed you mentioned for AOSP Roms, Teamwin is working on getting the drivers working and possible hardware acceleration. May i ask if you are currently working with TeamWin and sharing or helping with the code to get HDMI mirroring working on AOSP. From what i understand, your apk will be open to all and will be universal. and will work with both aosp and Sense rom as long as they have the drivers installed.

it does it has the XD Engine digital video processing aslo noticed that with like qik and tango the audio only worked on the phone no output to tv

1st time I ran it my phone crashed and rebooted, then it worked after that.

Try to disable the image processing in your TV, you should get no lag after that. This is not something that can be fixed with the app since the frames are fed to the TV at the right time, but the TV displays them delayed.
