Hmm.. It has been an interesting day to follow in the virtual world . I hope some people realize that the general public maybe not the most tech savvy , but when it comes to seeing things for they are people are sharp as a tack . Which means seeing things for what they really are. Try try and spin things now just make anyone that trys just look ridiculous .. Now let's back to the APP !!!!!

its just in private beta now...keep following this thread, in about 2 weeks Orrebmas said he would probably open to a public beta.

First, thank you for all you have done for Android. I respect your work and think that you and orrebmas can succeed at the same time. But I would like to request that you edit the sentence about him being more interested in money. If you would like I can send you a personal email from him to me asking me to not send him another donation.

That money statement is not true. The latest copy I have of his program has a nice big donate button on it. This is the one that's going to be released to the public. And I'm sure it will once he gets over someone posting his program online. It would bother me if something I didn't want out yet was stolen by someone on my team.
His time, just like yours and mine and everyone elses does have value. I know you guys take donations, same model he is going to use.
I really hate what happened when he first showed up at xda. I honestly believe he was just new to the site and didn't understand all the rules and i have to admit that forum has a LOT of rules. The moderators at xda have very little tolerance for rules broken on purpose or by mistake. if you've been a member there for a while you understand this. If your new it seems a little neandertol. And, I've had my feathers ruffled more than once by some of the very rude people over there. And you have to admit, there is some damn childish crap that goes on.

Sam is one damn talented programmer as are you. And, I would really like to see you two guys get together and work on things. You both could really help each other. I hope one of you will offer an olive branch to the other. it would greatly benefit the android community.

I really want to try out CM7 and I'm going to once it's really polished. And I know you guys will have it totally bug free. And more than likely have hdmi working as well.

@Teamwin: Good luck with future endeavors. I, for one, will not support anything you guys do. I know everyone hangs off of your nutsacks because you guys have "done so much" for the Android community, but I sure don't and I also don't buy any of the things you're selling on this thread. This will be the last thing I say on the subject. I only wish I was as classy as orrebmas and was able to control my big cyber-mouth from posting that yesterday. I'm glad everyone here is bigger and better than me and this thread did not get derailed. Peace.

I have tried everything u guys suggested. I will try it all again on some more TVs today.

Any luck? The HDMI cable you're using, is it a brand new cable, or have you tried using it without the app to make sure it works? I know I've read of people getting faulty cables right out of the box. Just wanted to rule that out.

Both the cables I have are confirmed working with both of my phones. I can never get it to say the service has started. Think I need a new working apk....
On the subject of teamwin what happened? There's no proof they did anything wrong. I say wait till there API comes out,have orrebmas look at it. Maybe he can tell if they stole anything. I doubt it tho.

I just tried the latest version with Sprint TV. I don't know why Sprint TV doesn't work over Wifi, but I have heard it explained that it's something to do with the technology. But, it does work over 4G, and it's 10x better over 4G.

I was really impressed by how good it looked blown up. But, I am getting a ton of flickering. If it weren't for that, this would be awesome to watch live ESPN highlights, or disney channel for my kid.

I am wondering if it's my rom combined with this kernel. Is anyone else using Ava Z3? If so, are you getting flickering on the following, maps, Hulu, and Sprint TV.

Those of you on other Roms, would you be able to test and let me know? I am thinking of switching to Fresh, bc that was the ROM Sam was using, but it's not worth the switch if I am going to be having the same issue.

@rican408 It could be possible that orrebmas sent you a debugging version of the apk. It happened once before and was quickly fixed.

@bradleyw801 I will check all the apps you have listed for screen flicker. With MikFroyo I am getting bad screen flicker with the new game stupid zombies and none at all with Angry Birds

Sorry, man. I'm not commenting on yesterday's news anymore. I know what I know and I'm not going to stoop down to the level of other people I know and post private conversations on a public forum. At least not without the permission of the other person involved. I'll do what I feel is right and everyone else can do the same.

Back to the subject: I'm really stumped about you not being able to get it to work. As far as you know, are you the only unrooted tester who has this app? And you did mention that you have hardware mode and supercharge mode off, right? Also, you did flash the

Try it after a fresh reboot, or go into settings> applications> running and make sure you force stop the app from running completely before you start it. If you can adjust the x/y resolution settings, then set it to something very low that can be easily mirrored......like a VGA resolution of 640 x 480 (even lower if that doesn't work). Depending on which TV you are using it on, if the resolution is too high, it won't work. This actually happened to me yesterday while messing with it on the TV at work.

I don't think they actually stole anything from Sam as much as they ran him out of town.

It's like this. Imagine that Cyanogen and his friends had a garden with a stand next to it that said "Fresh produce, pay whatever you feel like". Some people would come to the stand and ask "Can I pay nothing?" to which Cyanogen and TeamWin would reply "Sure." Others would come and give money in exchange for the free produce.

Then one day someone named Orrebmas tilled a garden nearby and planted seeds that would soon bear a magical fruit. It was a fruit that Cyanogen and his friends had been trying to get their hands on, but didn't have. Orrebmas put up a sign that said "Free Magical Fruit coming soon!" In anticipation of the fruit, several people walked up to the cart and gave him money asking to be notified when the fruit was ripe. To which he agreed.

TeamWin walked over to his garden and asked for some of his seeds so that they could grow the fruit and have it in their stand too. His reply was "I worked very hard to get these seeds, and I don't think I will give you the seeds just yet, but I will gladly share the fruit as soon as it is ripe. It will be free for everyone, including you, and you only pay if you feel like it."

TeamWin wasn't happy with this, so they called the city and said that Orrebmas was violating zoning. The city asked him to move his garden which he did, but kept the stand open. When some of the fruit was ripe, he gave it to a few of the people that had pledged donations to him. Once it's all ripe, he will open the stand and give it to anyone who wants it, with a cup that says donations are appreciated.

The bottom line is anyone who is an open source developer, and tries to pretend that they don't want to get paid for what they are doing is lying. If everyone was doing this just "for fun", and didn't expect ANYTHING in return, then take down your donate buttons, eliminate all the ways to give money to you, and truly distribute it without holding your hand out. But as long as you have your donate button up, then you live in a glass house, and shouldn't throw rocks at someone else trying to make a buck.

Yup....but I put everything on manually before he created the zip. I don't think that should make any difference, though.
