Settings> language & keyboard.......or you can press and hold inside a text box like when you send a sms and Input options will show up. Then click and select Swype.

Ok Updated. This maybe a dumb question. How do I get SWYPE to work?

1. select in settings--->keyboards-->Swype.
2. start a new email or text and long press in the text field and select Swype as input method.

you go back the same way in reverse.

I didn't expect the android market to update also but it did on my Evo after the update.

The update does not consume additional memory.... I GAINED about 11-12mb by installing it. Don't worry about that

Do not spread misinformation... I can confirm at least for me the update added 11-12mb of extra space. Mostly because the Swype is much smaller then my beta one was. Also all the added apps are less then 500kb each. What i'm guessing is the ROM was re-worked and partitioned space to make this stuff fit without using extra space.

I'm also glad my source came through and gave me a solid date, that it would be releasing today. I had edited my first post with that. So thank my source! haha

mine got stuck! whats up with that? yes im rooted and yes I deleted the swype before the update. still its unpacking the file and then it just stops any help?

unroot, or use the rooted update file. Update wouldn't work for me either while rooted
