I ordered mine from verizon yesterday for $28 shipped and it comes with a case. There is a code BAT30 that gives you 30% off and you can use that with your corporate discount making it 55% off. Not sure if it still works today but its worth a shot. Check slickdeals.net and look for verizon battery droid x and they pics of it. It slightly raises the back but not bad.

got my OEM extended today..
pretty happy with it so far.
size doesn't bother me, and it fits in both the home and car dock no problem.
I'll turn off juice defender tomorrow and see how it performs.

I am loving the new battery. It adds very little thickness. It fits in the media dock just fine. I don't use a case ... so can't comment on that.

well i took my phone off the charger today at 9am, turned off juice defender and then my phone proceeded to drain at a very fast rate.
by 5pm i had 20% left and i put it on the charger.
I'm not sure what app is eating up the battery, but i'm going to have to find out...

Best app I've found is Juice Defender. you should see some pretty noticeable improvements with it.
