Would T-mobile work in your area? Not sure of the cost comparison on unlimited, but they allow tethering. I've had great reception in socal, ks, OK, and az. I thought att and tmus used same tech.

I see you are new here, welcome aboard and thank for the comment.

I will be staying with AT&T for now I have my problem resolved. As for T-mobile cover in my area, I have no area, I live in a RV and travel country never staying in one place long enough to let the moss grow.

That's the great thing about the 6p. You can try any carrier you want. I was on T-Mobile when I first got my phone but now I'm on Project fi. I wanna try Verizon next if I can get a sim.
