I waited for ICS before leaving BB because I really hated all touchscreen phones w/prior Android versions or even i phone. I think ICS addresses most of my issues..I was able to pick it up and figure out most of the functions, find it is the most user friendly of anything I've tried. My voice quality, volume are fine for me as I do most of my talking w/a bt headset, and my music w/noise cancelling headphones.

However, the network/4g issues are abominable. Clearly it;'s not just the GNEX, it's all phones have have 3g/4g. I am using this for my business and need reliability where ever I travel which is why I have been w/Verizon all along. I hope they figure this out and make changes to the network or update the phones to deal w/the data issues. If they don't by the end of the holiday exchnage period, I might have to hold my nose and trade it in for a 3g only set.

I admit I'm on the fence also. Not about the phone overall, just this version of the phone (VZW version). I probably wouldn't feel this way if I had not bought the GSM version also.

I may offend a few people but the GSM version seems/feels like a true nexus phone. I see this especially when I use the GN official update app recommended on here. "Update by Google" vs. "Updated by Google but needs final approval from Verizon"

Other than the volume bug, which I never had because of the quick update, the GSM version has been pretty good. The signal strength is superior in my home, it doesn't randomly reboot, the battery last a great deal longer and, it just seems smoother overall.

I will most-likely keep the Verizon model but, still hanging on to the GSM model also. I will be driving around the city to check the coverage of both phones. I never had a dropped call on T-mobile in my city. T-mobile also has a very nice small business plan with unlimited everything for $49.99.

Hopefully after the update to 4.03 I won't be as much on the fence anymore. I do like the phone and the 4G speeds when I'm out in the city. I've read on here ( and other places) so much how Verizon is the best network for coverage and this makes me want to stick it out with this phone also. At times it just feels like I'm getting ripped off and not getting the full experience of what I'm paying for.

got mine the other day to to replace my Tbolt..needless to say this thing is staying with me! what little bugs iv seen holds no candle to the ones on the thunderbolt.
