Yep. Even with the Whitestone dome tempered glass installed it's now working so much better with the touch sensitivity enabled. Thanks

Have mine set for smart unlock with my gear s3. On my s9+ I could unlock with a print or face with smart lock on. On the s10+ open the phone and it states already unlocked with smart unlock.

I find that the sensor works on much better without that plastic film I was having problems and I took that off

I started putting my PIN in.
This is a bit tiresome.
Also it requires a bit more pressure than expected and to hold down for at least 1 full second.

Make sure when you are scanning in your FP, you do it in a well lit room. I tried doing mine in the dark and it was terrible. It is working much better now. Also dont try scanning the tip of your finger. Use like the middle of it. I also double scanned both my thumbs twice. Wish I could add my index fingers, but the thumbs should be good enough.

Uh... the point of an ultrasonic sensor is that it doesn't use light to read.

Make sure when you are scanning in your FP, you do it in a well lit room. I tried doing mine in the dark and it was terrible. It is working much better now. Maybe difficult if you're thick skinned or calloused fingertips?? They did mention it detects blood flow somehow so if someone cut off your finger and tried to access your phone an amputated finger wouldnt work so maybe the sensor can get an image of your print but not detecting blood flow?

Too bad they didn't include the side FPS, that they use on the 10e, on the 10/+.

The "simple tap" does not work for me. I keep getting the "press harder" prompt. It's not ready for prime time - and I'm not bashing it. I totally expect it to get much better, after an update. But right now, I can't use it as my preferred unlocking option.

Hmm, I really struggled with the FPS last night in my dark bedroom after a 90-95% hit rate during the day.

You guys are doing it wrong. When you register, do it like you're just barely touching it in the angles you normally use. Mine is working perfectly!

Just picked up my phone from BB. I'm having no (0) issues with FPS. I've been signing into all my secure apps (banking, CC, etc) using it. I did scan the same finger (thumb) twice.
