Firmware update

I'm getting notification of a software update. Anyone else get it? Not sure what's included, but I'm giving it a whirl. I don't plan on rooting, so for me it's fine.

Maybe my imagination, but tap on hasn't missed yet since the update. Too early to make any definitive conclusions. But hey, it's nice to see an update this soon.

Someone over at XDA is saying it's to patch the root exploit. No confirmation of that yet though.

I installed it. Tap is much more responsive. Transitions seem smoother and screen seems to adjust better to light. That's what I've noticed.

No log Jay. The Verizon website is down for this update.

Software version doesn't match on that, either.

Just got it too. Unintentionally installed it (don't ask). Didn't really notice anything obviously different, but now that it was mentioned here, knock on does seem better.

My software went from VS98010B to VS98011A. So where are the release notes for 98011A?

It better not be to enlarge font, the font is huge in the Notification tray, Google Now cards and other places, I didn't buy a phone with a large screen because of poor eye sight

Don't really notice a difference. Knock on/off was perfect for me before so I'm not noticing a change there.

And for those worried, I'm not seeing any change to the font size in the notification tray.

Okay, I lied. Just noticed a change in llama. All the cell masts I had set for my areas are no longer recognized. I'm having to relearn all my areas and they're all showing new masts.
