[FIX FOR] Netflix "syncing" issue

Depending on the rom you have it will differ. If on cm7 it will be under the performance settings. Change it to ondemand.

I dont seem to have a performance setting. Im on an optimus t.
Does that mean I have to root my phone or downlaod an app. Doesnt that void my
warranty?

Its different for every phone. If you are experience the "chipmunk" issue, it usually relates to the type of governor being used. To change the governor, you usually need to be rooted. For rooting, I would refer to something more specific.up your particular phone. I wont be able to offer advice specific.to your phone.

Wow just got my new Optimus M and was soon excited yo download Netflix but was so disappointed when the audio and video went terribly out of sync.

BUT THANK GOODNESS for this fix. Just downloaded it and the video stream is seamless. Although, there is a small green bar on top of the screen for the duration of the video but hey beggars can't be choosers!

I just tried it and got "Error 401 - link expired or inactive" :/

Just wanted to say thank you, I just downloaded Netflix tonight and was experiencing sync issues. Then I came here and did a quick search and my problem was fixed in ten minutes. Netflix now runs smoothly with no lag issues. Thank you Android Central members for your terrific support.

Ok I have an issue I was useing the older Netflix app and all of a sudden the app kept saying my device was decativated from Netflix and when I did the update to the program which still doesn't work as good it worked with no problem any ideas any suggestion

BRETTJ... did you fix the chipmunk effect? I'm using Optimus M, rooted (z4root), installed older netflix version and it came on sync but fast video and audio...any info and how to change governor as they mention? I did not install any rom yet. Thanks for any help

I downloaded the app and installed....call me over board but I have a few malware scanners running, ie zoners, look out, and kinetoo...kinetoo says that this app is a phishing app..but didn't alert on the newest from the market...

Ok so this weekend Netflix would not open once again unless I let it update to the newest ver is there a way to disable the update check

all I do, click update, it brings u to market,press back key, you will get another update notification, do the same and will be good to go

I tried that but it didn't work. Netflix just can't leave things alone. Lol any other ideas

It seems netflix has made it so you have to use the most recent version.
