I hate to say it but I kind of agree with him. He obviously was pretending to be someone he wasn't, he had multiple accounts and gave everyone false information while claiming he had a high position in the Verizon corporation. I think that deserves to be banned for. Plus he is pushing the law stating that he represents a company and spreading false information about that company..

A financial Analyst is not a high position. Just a glorified accountant who usually deals with budgets and reporting. In the corporate world that isn't much.

He gave information about the release information being today, which didn't happen. He also said that they phone will be released next Thursday which also won't happen. And if you really have a pair since you like calling me out for giving correct information then put your money where your mouth is. Now paypal me my 10 bucks!!

First, try to find where I accepted your bet. I didn't. Second, it's still today, so it still can be announced. Third, you're saying he's wrong about a future date? Do I need to even argue this point?

BMX has more cachet than our other "tipsters," but as a device tester, what makes him privvy to release dates? Especially with this release and the bollocks it has become? Yes, he's had a good track record, and I'm sure he's got solid info about the device itself. But it feels like folks are grasping at straws here.

Panda is not a device tester. No one knows for sure, but best guess is a lead network engineer. He's talked about climbing towers back in the day. Now he flys around the world on VZW's dime.

Normally FA report to the controller or asst controller. That's how it was at the telecom company I worked for. Either way, they are just bean counters and wouldn't have privy information like a phone launch unless they inquired about it to a friend who works on the operations side of the business. For reporting purposes he may have known, but for my company, we only worried about numbers. Subscribers, churn rate, AARPU, etc. Didn't get the detail down to the phone level. Maybe store, but not phone.

I doubt he's a lead network engineer. I do agree, if he is to be believed, that he is a network engineer or works in their engineering area. My guess, considering he's in California, that he's probably a regional.

You are wrong again sir. Just got to do a google search to get the answer.

So the obvious question, for the exclusive iPhone carrier in the USA (since the Verizon iPhone 4 isn?t out yet) is whether the iPhone 5 will be a 4G LTE handset or not. It seems that Ralph de la Vega mentioned Apple as one of its future 4G partners implying that an iPhone 4G LTE device will be available in the future. But since LTE deployment will only start in the second half of the year, the iPhone 6 seems to be the first iPhone 4G LTE device the world will see, and that might happen only in 2012, at a time both AT&T and Verizon will be ready to offer 4G LTE to plenty of U.S. markets.
