Am I the only one not comfortable that this is based on an article from a very unreliable source, CNET? They have been wrong more times than I can recall. Many times they're articles are filled with uncertainties, assumptions and even outright lies.
Just an update: evleaks, AKA evFAKES, blocked me on Twitter, with no provocation other than to comment on the fact that the Huawei Nexus sports the SD 810 and not the 820, as he truly did claim.

I stopped following him. He rarely posts anything of value and most of his posts are crying like a little kid. Reminds me of my 5 year old nephew.
grabbed a Nexus 6 on Amazon. 32 GB for $350 ... that'll replace the Nexus 4. now I just need to replace me S4, hoping to do it with the LG version.

awesome. 2 things:
1. slippery little bugger. might want a case. the Ringke SLIM doesn't add much width (because of the split corners it can be a tighter fit) and it comes up slightly proud of the screen.
2. once you get used to it, it's gonna to be hard to go back to the 5.7's!

don't want to keep spending your money, but they still have the 64 GB.I'm looking forward to it, couldn't pass up that price.
lol, did you call him evFAKES? please say you did.
The Moto Nexus being only $400 for 64 GB presents with a dilemma. Do I wait for the 64 GB Huawei Nexus, 64 GB Moto XPE, or snag a Moto Nexus? Do I wait for the 2016 Moto X with the 820? My concern with that is that the next crop of phones will go the route of Sony and use a ridiculous 4K screen, which will no doubt drain the battery even more. What to do?

The one thing I've learned from the new Nexus forums is one user needs two new phones lol.
personally I'm done holding out on phones expecting larger batteries. if it's the 820 you're after, then obviously wait. but I've seen no evidence to suggest larger batteries are on the horizon.
I'd be surprised if the Hauwei Nexus is larger than 3300 mAh, and I actually think it'll be less than that.
Also I can't really give you any suggestions on this years crops without knowing what's most important to you. I expect similar battery/camera, so do you want a finger print sensor? SD card? do you like moto maker? what about 5.2" vs 5.7"?
that'll help you determine what to get, but I'm done swimming against the tide.
Looking back, AndroidPolice had the leak early on with pretty good confidence about both batteries. They were right about LG being 2700, so im inclined to believe that the huawei has 3500 like they claimed.
