Anyone have any suggestions for software to back up your apps/data?

Also, getthat (thanks for taking the leap) can you tell us if your camera was updated to 720p?

97% downloaded... I'm guessing I'll have Froyo this afternoon (need to run home to watch my daughter go to her first day of kindergarten or it would be in the next half hour- kids, it's always something with them- jk)

Anyone who plans on eventually rooting after this better S-off their phones BEFORE you do this or you may not be able to do anything with it for awhile! Also it's updating your radio, so without S-off you can not go back to 2.1 or possibly any offical 2.2 updates. Be leary of this until some devs get their hands on it and announce a yeah or nah to it!

I've backed up my data and my applications using MyBackupPro. However, I used the free version since this is the first time I've used it and I will be restoring onto the same device. If everything works out, I will be purchasing the pro version. (holds breath, crosses fingers, starts update).

Wait...is this the official OTA update Verizon will send out?

I think its the general consensus on XDA that it's the official OTA.

RUU Update works great!

Completed my update with the RUU and everything is working well. My device was a stock (un-rooted) device. The procedure took about 10 minutes and the image was updated from 1.22.605.2 to 3.21.605.1. I just recreated my accounts and I am restoring my application and will provide more detail later. So far so good! Very smooth install! Here is a little more info from the "About Phone" screen & some screen shots...
