I just got word that the update has been approved by Verizon, folks. Looking pretty good for tomorrow.

You don't have to turn the phone off to "bump charge." That term is really regrettable. All you are doing is topping off the charge because the firmware starts running off the battery the second the charge is completed (so if you charge overnight, you have "lost charge" -- that is, run off the battery for a period of hours -- by morning). It makes no difference whether the phone is on or off when you top it off (I've timed it -- is +/- a couple of minutes depending on the day -- no appreciable difference if the phone is on or off).
Just found this...
http://shipped-roms.com/shipped/Inc...4k_NV_1.50_PRL58006_release_143351_signed.exe
Downloading now...could this be it??
That is it and I'm already on it, I had froyo installed but nandroid'd it back to 2.1 then tried this one...worked like a charm.
One thing though, put htc sync BACK on your system if you have removed it or it will not work
Runs like a charm...though I now no longer have root![]()
it took me 20 minutes to download this morning at 10 AM EST, may be too many users trying to get it by now.How long did it take to download to computer and the to the phone. I'm going on almost an hour to download to computer.
i don't see much difference in the battery yet, i have installed this morning at 10.30 and i was using pretty heavy, battery is almost dead now, same as before.Howz the BATTERY????? If anyone has had it running for a while, PLEASE let me know, it is my big concern about this phone.
i used "disk drive"When you plug your phone into the computer what setting do you put your phone into:
charge only
htc sync
disk drive
mobile
The program keeps telling me it can read the phone and to check the connection.
