Still working on a "Desktop" config friendly browser/theme. Here's what I have so far but this only works on xscope. If anybody knows of a better solution let me know.
*The second image is the same theme but without tabs.The third is the "windows" dropdown.

This some really nice work Loki. One step closer to making the evo a perfect mobile desktop.
FullHDMI was just updated to v1.3.6.
This version fixes a screen tearing issue when using DroidTV and possibly other similar apps.
It also finally fixes the incompatibility issues with apps that use the HDMI port natively like YouTube and many other. HTC Gallery is still not compatible because it tries to reserve the whole video memory block and crashes if it cannot.
Startup loading time of the app has been greatly improved also.

This is your finest work yet! And while you continue to support, develop, and perfect your app, it seems other developers have moved on to different projects. I think we can say that you officially "win".
Some minor fine tuning might be left, like landcape in the app itself, but you have focused on the important details and done a great job.
I concur that indeed this release is your finest to date. And guess what? Let there be sound!!! I don't know why I was never able to get sound on any other release and through the betas but now I can even though I had been rooted running Myn's RLS5 and everybody else could. I just chalked it up to a bad HDMI port that someday I would replace. And as awesome as this app is, your dedication to perfection is equally amazing. Thanks for all you've done.

Unrooted Offline Function?
I have an unrooted Evo without service. Without rooting or connecting to service, I'd like to be able to use Full HDMI.
1. What is a way to connect the phone online just to download the Full HDMI application?
If this were a GSM phone, it seems a simple SIM card from a friend would work. What do I do since it is not GSM?
Is there a way to connect it to my home internet without service?
2. If I have the Full HDMI app downloaded, will it work without service or internet connection?

You will need wifi to connect to the market and download the full version.
I am working on a version which will be able to run offline. Right now it will try to connect to the market every 5 hours or so, Google managed license policy. My custom policy will allow you to use the app offline, it will be coming in the next few days, I'll update this thread when it does.

So, how do I connect to wifi to download the app without having to start up a Sprint contract?
I just wish it were GSM because then I'd be confident that even somebody at the Sprint store would pop in their SIM to allow me 1 download.
Hi there. I run the website and live support. I have a couple of questions before I can walk you through this.
Have you linked the phone to your gmail account. (You would have been asked to do this when you first got the phone if it was purchased new.)
If it was purchased used has it been reset to factory defaults? (If not, then this will need to be done.)
Once we have these things covered I can walk you through what you need to do to get FullHDMI on your Evo. It would be easier to do this on website's support chat. Let me know when the best time is for you and what time zone you are in and I meet you on the support chat (provided the time difference is reasonable).
I'm getting alot of screen flicker now on 720p. Using nets kernel on myns rls5. Anyone else having this issue?

Hardware Acceleration
I have an Evo 4g running cm7 build 39. FullHDMI works great but I saw on some video's or pictures a button for hardware acceleration and supercharged modes which are not on my version. How can I enable these features? Thanks for your time and attention.

@kids88yj -I get this every couple of days and after cleaning the phone and cable connections it goes away. I have had this issue with both apps since the beginning.
@ProCision -I haven't had any issue with audio switching on CM7.0.0. The only bug I've found is CM7 doesn't want to release the headphone jack from time to time and requires a full reboot. What problems are you having?
@cowmanjanga -See that HW acceleration is enabled on all ROMs/kernels the option was no longer need and was removed. Supercharge was, in simple terms, frame skipping and was found to degrade overall performance and quality greatly so the option was removed.

Thanks ill give it a shot. What do you clean them with compressed air can? I've had several people get this app after they see what I can do with it. It rocks. haven't tried the other one yet this one had worked to good to worry about it.

Just did the latest update of the app now it forces close soon as click to open the app, im on cm7
Confirmed: FC on start on CM7. I'll try to post a log if I can get the Evo's browser to cooperate.
One of the changes to 1.3.8 was static licensing to support functionality without internet connection and those who use their EVO overseas. This introduced a crash on phones with a specific device_id, but it got fixed in 1.3.8a.
Another addition is the "Report a problem" option when you hit the menu button. This will automatically pull the logcat and paste it in an email message and will be sent directly to my dev email.
Currently working on a Landscape UI and more audio route options for those with a HDMI->DVI adapter or a bluetooth headset.
