Whats up guys. Im runnin kings rom rite now. I cant get full hdmi to output in 720p it keeps reverting to 720x480 (EDTV). I installed the accelerated kernel and whiped cash/dalvik 3 or 4 times and sitll a no go. Any suggestions?

I can't seem to get the audio output over the headset. I can either get it from my TV, or the phone's speaker, but not the headset jack. Help?

Is anyone else dealing with this: From time to time, I will answer a call and the person on the other end will tell me my voice is real high pitched like a chipmunk. So, I called myself on another phone and yup, I'm a chipmunk, I resolve it by rebooting my phone. Anyone, It's VERY ANNOYING. Thanks

I can't play audio thru the headset when the app is running either, also going thru the speaker.

Per my friends, on several occasions, my voice sounds like "Donald Duck" during calls until I turn the phone off and on. I had been wondering if it was an app causing it or the fact that I had also dropped the phone. It started after the last update (if HDMI is the cause).

Just want to say, turning the phone off and on occasionally is easily worth it. I still love the app.

I just wish Orrebmas would at least check into this since this app does modify the output of the sound to the TV. I am 95% sure (maybe less ) that this is the cause of the issue. No I dont have facts, just saying. Please help.

I am here King, I have been making enhancements to the audio module of FullHDMI, but I cannot reproduce the high-pitch output you are referring to. It is difficult to fix a problem without being able to test for it. There are more audio enhancements coming in the next release, along with widget support (in progress).

Yes, I'm getting chipmunk voice on phone calls too. It started just after I installed Full HDMI, so it seems very likely that it's the culprit. I might have to uninstall it, since it makes the phone unusable.

Is there a specific event or series of events which trigger the issue? Are you using a bluetooth or a headset when it happens?

When I use fullhdmi, I'll usually plug in my charger when I'm using it. When I'm done using it, I'll stop the app and then press the back button. Sometimes I will go and force close the app itself in the settings/applications menu from time to time but I dont remember if it still happens after that. Maybe it happens because it's still running in the backgroung? Besides that, I do nothing else. Oh, when It's on and hdmi plugged in, I also use Sprint Hotspot. Thanks!

I don't have a rooted phone, but I still have the issue with the audio only coming over the speaker - I can't get audio to come out through the headset.

It's really annoying when I'm on the treadmill or the bike at the gym- I can get a movie on the TV, but I can't hear a thing.

Also, thanks for putting in the time and effort to develop this app!

Oh, and I also see that you are having the same problem1182mam and we both use Netarchy toastmod 4.3.4 kernals but you use less and I'm using more. Hmmmm

That will happen when using any streaming video. If you have your phone running fullHDMI, and using netflix, it is using almost every resource it has available. Do that for any extended period of time, and the phone will get pretty hot.

This would be the case if you were say, tethering, listening to pandora, and playing a game.

I've been having the Chipmunk issue as well. I'm using an unrooted Evo with Froyo 2.2. It took me a long time to identify it. My landlord was the first to complain, but she's stupid to begin with and can't speak good English. She didn't say I sounded like a chipmunk, just that she couldn't understand me. Then I'd call another number and it'd work fine. I left a voicemail to a coworker and she said that I sounded like a chipmunk. Today on my way home my mom called and couldn't understand me and it finally occurred to me to used the voice recorder app and when I listened to my recording, sure enough it was the chipmunk sound. I plugged my phone into the charger, recorded my voice, and it was gone. It seems to happen inconsistently and without trigger. I hadn't used the app in a few days and it started today. I've never noticed it while actually using the app. Frankly, I'm relieved it's the app and nothing to do with my hardware.
And no, I'm not rooted. I use the app for Netflix and for the TV Streaming app. I may have to uninstall it and then install it again when I plan on using it, then uninstall it when I'm done. I love the app and have gotten some great use out of it, but I can't recommend it if this issue persists.

I used the beta version and it worked perfectly before. Today, i decided to ry buying the full version.

I am running Smooth n Sexy Sense (froyo) rom with the Netarchy 4.3.4 nohavs no undervolting kernel. Testing on a Vizio 47 inch and a Vizio 32 inch. Both tv's are set to Wide, which is basically "Just Scan" with other sets. Both tv's also work perfectly (pixel for pixel) with any computer or tablet connected. Also work perfect with the stock hdmi Gallery out.

Everything works fine in the app, however, the app seems to be overscaling the picture by about 5-10 pixels or so. I have tried all adjustments on my tv, it is already displaying pixel for pixel, and cannot be zoomed out anymore. It IS showing 720p.

So I'm just wondering how I would go about zooming the evo's display out about 5-10 pixels. I bought your full app, but had to refund it after a few minutes (damn 15 min refund policy). If we can figure it out, I would be glad to purchase again.

Just go to the 2nd tab with the TV, leave the resolution at 720, enable custom screen and mess with it till your screen fits perfect. I had to do this and my setting is at, Width-1200 Hieght-680.

Hopefully thats your problem.
