You have customers who paid you money for an app that Google broke. If you're going to ***** and moan about their hand in this you could at least post an update when they release the source code. Or just tell the people who paid you to **** off. And i hope you can get it out with "part" of your weekend as Hdmwin fixed for gb, like the man said, in a few days. Developing is hard work, if you can't keep up just say so and we'll spend our money elsewhere.

All I was saying was I feel orrebmas could be doing more. At least keeping his loyal fans up to date. My last post was edited so i guess no one will get to judge that but you mr. moderator... And i could be wrong orrebmas, but I believe I have a non market app or two installed... Am I just missing something here? Is it wrong to be a bit miffed when a dev takes your money then violates googles tos and you lose your app? Just fix the Damn thing.

Yes you are. The app implements Google's market licensing libraries to verify that a user did pay and not using a hack version. With Google pulling the plug, the app will receive a generic "Do not authenticate" response from Google. Your non-market apps are free apps which do not attempt to authenticate with Google's servers.I believe I have a non market app or two installed... Am I just missing something here?
Please let me know how I violated the TOS if you have an answer. Is it wrong to be a bit miffed when a dev takes your money then violates googles tos and you lose your app?
P.S. If you bought the app after May 2nd, then Google has your money not me.
That's great Orrebmas! Good work! We realize you aren't out of the woods yet, because of the whole screw job from Google.
I am just throwing out suggestions here, and they may not be viable, so anyone, feel free to give feedback. Once you get your GB version working, there may be some options to get it back out to your paid customers, and still make it available for purchase by new customers.
Option 1
Open a new developer account. Re-release FullHDMI under a different name. The downside is that those of us that have paid, may have to buy it again. Is there any way for you to know based off their gmail account when someone emails you, if they had previously purchased your app? If so, here is my thought. I personally wouldn't mind paying you again for the app. Consider a donation for your continued development. $5 over again would be the least I could do for all you have done. But that's just me. Anyone who did pay, and doesn't want to again could reach out to you, or maybe you could enlist Loki's help here, and if their email checks out, just refund them directly through paypal or something.
Option 2
You get a new developer account, re-release, and price it lower, something like $1, for 24 hours. Hopefully no one would have a problem throwing a buck your way. After that go up to full price. You will probably have plenty of people screaming about having to pay again, but just politely apologize and take it one case at a time.
Option 3
Release it in another market like Slide-Me, and use the same methods from options 1 or 2 for taking care of new and existing customers. Yongzh got pulled from the market, moved N64oid to Slide-Me and made it free for a couple of weeks. But, when he released an update for it, it was no longer free. We all had to pay again to download the update. People weren't happy about it, but he survived.
Hopefully something works. The predicament you are in sucks. Just know that if I have to pay for it again, to renew my license, I have no problem with that.
