[FullHDMI] Official FullHDMI discussion

So I'm a little confused, is the CM7 version the one posted? I'm running CM7 2.6.37 and It won't allow me to start the service.

It's for sense roms only, not aosp.

You are a couple days outdated igotsanevo4g :)

CM6 demos:

YouTube - FullHDMI on CM6 - 2
YouTube - FullHDMI on CM6 - 3

CM7 demos:

YouTube - FullHDMI on CM7 2

Check out the first page of this thread for updates and milestones. FullHDMI now supports any kernel AOSP or Sense, with or without custom drivers. Kernels with custom drivers will be superior of course in terms of FPS and new features like Audio control.

All this is coming in the next public beta.

Nice Orrebmas your ahead of schedule as usual. So unrooted Full HDMI will be avaible in the next couple of hours right lol.

Sickness will software mode still be no full screen or is that going to have to wait for full beta public testing

Not sure yet, I think spending development time getting hardware mode to work for unrooted (long shot) is more worth it than full screen.

Another question is it impossible to have Full HDMI out throug wifi or bluee tooth that would just be Insane

Someone would have to write a program for the phone to send bluetooth info to the receiver, if I am understanding that correctly...

Why Its beimg sent through Usb. Iam just saying weather it will work with a micro Usb to regular Usb which would be sick with Full HDMI App.

First and foremost I would like to say thank you to all the developers and testers working hard on this project. I've been lurking for the last couple of weeks seeing it come along nicely. Ive had my Evo since Sept. of last year and have never rooted my phone. I guess I'm afraid I will brick it and lose everything since I heavily rely on my phone for my business. I have a quick question. I understand that you have the software working for non rooted phones but what exactly does that mean? I've downloaded the apk and installed but everytime I run the service it says not running in the service state field and that's after I've turned off the hardware mode. Thanks in advance for your response!!

The unrooted software mirroring is fixed and will be released in the next beta. The apk posted has it broken.

An plans on implementing mode changing via the apk or are trigger files still needed?

Added "real" resolution changing to development plans on first page:
HD_720p @ 1280x720
SVGA @ 800x600
PAL @ 720x576
EDTV @ 720x480
VGA @ 640x480

I am keeping the old "force res" option, but most likely will change its name since the above feature is the real resolution.
