G4 - Verizon software update 06-30-15

I've notice faster drain, but not that fast. I did 3 hard resets and will give it a few days to settle down before I worry about it.

Just a update. Did a FDR for the battery drain. After the FDR my soft keys did not work, except for the back button. Did another FDR and the phone got stuck in a loop where I couldn't sign into google. Verizon is sending me a replacement. Back on my old DNA and it's almost painful how slow this phone is compared to the g4.

I am so glad that my phone is still within the 14 day return period. It makes me feel comfortable allowing this update.

Are they coming out with any new one soon? The keyboard likes to delete words that have already been typed.. Also, do you know if they are ever going to come out with a way to disable ois?

When I used to have the LG G4, I noticed that when you tap on default weather app that sends you to Accuweather site, the date of forecast was a day in advance and not present day. You have to tap on the left arrow to get to present day forecast. Annoying. Has anybody noticed this? I contacted Accuweather and they say they are only responsible for providing weather content. One has to contact LG because the app is a third-party app.

Lots of other weather apps you can try. I like BeWeather - yeah it's a bit old but it gets the job done.
