Galaxy A9+ question

We just purchased a Samsung Galaxy A9+, model SM-X210 and I would like to root the device,. I am thinking about going the TWRP Recovery route, but… When I go to the page with the TWRP images, namely https://twrp.me/Devices/Samsung/, I cannot figure out which one to get. Please help.

I have to ask... what is the point of rooting these days?

I'm not positive, but being a tablet with the Snapdragon SOC likely means a locked bootloader that prevents root.

However, if there is a way, might be best to check out the XDA Developers Forum for that kind of stuff.
