Galaxy buds gift SOLD OUT

I preordered at best buy now they are saying they may not have the buds for us but may compensate by giving me more for my current phone for trade in

But best buy has got nothing to do with it, the promotion is from Samsung so Samsung is the one who will give you $130 coupon or something like that if they can't give the buds when you submit the claim from shop Samsung app once you pick up the phone. I'm not sure best buy employees have any idea about this generally.

I think you are right about best buy employees because they told me I was getting the buds when I preordered lol but if they give me more for my trade in it may balance out

Sure that'll be sweet but most likely not going to happen because pretty much everyone who pre ordered will get the pre order gifts without any problem from Samsung. Either in the form of actual Galaxy buds or a coupon with equivalent value.
Every year similar story repeats worrying about gifts and every year everyone gets their pre order gifts. Until that changes personally not going to worry about it.

Just make sure the first thing you do after picking up the phone is to download the shop Samsung app and submit your claim

If best buy gives you more for your trade in, take it. You will still be able to get the gift from Samsung when you get your phone.

Yeah I remember when we used have to submit your EIP from T-Mobile and either print it out or get a copy and upload that as well. Definitely used to be a pain.

I suspect you still have to go into Shop Samsung App and claim it. Only a guess.
