Right!? I have even seen Youtubers that have "Apple" specific channels complaining that "they" didn't get a free phone, like some of the other Youtubers(Android,Tech,or neutral vlogger)! First, how arrogant is that? But even those guys got free earbuds. Everyone that went to the event got a pair. The Samsung website says there are only a total of 42,000 buds for the preorder promo available, and after that ,then you'll get a credit for use of merchandise on Samsung's website. The buds usually go out with the phone "if" you ordered from Samsung directly. Others had to apply for them after they receive their phone,through the Samsung Shop app. So,I don't know, because I ordered my white ceramic S10+ on the 2nd day of preordering and my "ship by" date was set at the 15th, but the buds,which were included on my order,said they're on backorder until the end of April. I definitely want them,even if I have to wait awhile for them to become available again. I was already looking for a good pair of bluetooth buds!

Even Walmart is advertising the Galaxy Buds promo. Walked past the electronics department while there shopping earlier and they even had an endcap with an S10e and S10 on display. Beside them was two tear-off coupon displays advertising the Buds pre-order promo.

Everybody is advertising the promo. The fine print says it all, limited quantities.

It didn't change. That number is on the Samsung website.

Best Buy told me today their is like 132,000 and that as soon as you get the phone download the app and order them and after so many people claim then you'll get the certificate when they run out. I don't know but that's what he told me.

I still feel the only quota which ran out was the one specifically allocated for the Samsung.com orders. When carrier orders, Amazon, best buy or others start receiving their phones and start submitting the claim you will still get the buds. Worst case we are going to get the $130 e-certificate anyway. As long as we submit the claim soon after we receive our phones we should be good and well within their max quota. This is same every year and generally pretty much every pre-order have been able to claim the pre order gifts without much issues. As usual there are always exceptions.

Yeah I am not worried as long as I get the 130 cerificate I'll still get the buds and then I can get black even. That will match my hair and you won't really notice I am wearing them. LOL! But I don't care I just want the buds regardless they seem nice.

And after 132000 people do it then you get a certificate this what Best Buy told me. so I'll just wait and see if I get them or the certificate either way it doesn't matter but a lot of people are getting their phones early so who knows how many will get claimed before Friday.

That was my thought being on the west coast and getting them much later. I’ll jsut use the certificate on the buds if we can

Yeah the 6-8 week estimate is pretty common for these gifts. Which makes me wonder: if you really want the buds it's still better to get the $130 certificate, because then you can just order the buds from Samsung.com and get them in a few days instead of two months. Offering us a $130 certificate seems like great news even if you were hoping for the buds. Especially if you want the buds, it would seem.

Is it confirmed we can purchase the buds with the gift certificate? I have a feeling there is going to be issues with that.

That is what might be an issue, it looks like most people who ordered to have delivered are getting their phones by Wednesday, this means a lot of people will have a head start on claiming the buds. I haven't seen anywhere that Samsung will allow the gift certificate to be used on the Buds.

Why wouldn't you be able to use it for the Buds? Can't you use it for anything on the Samsung shop?
