It does, but the idea behind a case especially an Otter box is to protect the phone from damage when dropped. Which it failed to do. I have also dropped my phone without a case and had no damage done to the phone.
I get why people have cases and I don't fault anyone for using one. I just see a lot of cases and think to myself the original design of the phone has been ruined. The phone just becomes a square box with a display.
I thought Otterbox only had a plastic screen protector on the front? Any point impact on the screen may cause it to shatter
