I thought Otterbox only had a plastic screen protector on the front? Any point impact on the screen may cause it to shatter

It does, but the idea behind a case especially an Otter box is to protect the phone from damage when dropped. Which it failed to do. I have also dropped my phone without a case and had no damage done to the phone.

I get why people have cases and I don't fault anyone for using one. I just see a lot of cases and think to myself the original design of the phone has been ruined. The phone just becomes a square box with a display.

my neo hybrid case just came in and I like it fits good has all the openings for the mics and it feels great in the hand I'm going neo hybrid from now on

I love my metal-slate colored Neo Hybrid case. I love that the colored frame is NOT painted, but just colored molded plastic...so it won't chip and look bad. Are all the colors like that or are some them painted. The whole thing takes away nothing from the Note 3's aesthetic beauty IMO.

Spigen announced today on their Facebook page that the slim armor view is "coming soon"

The one for the S4 looks soooooo bulky though......

I read that Spigen is suppose to be making some sort of announcement about a new case for the Gnote3. I hope that it is the Slim Armor View!!!
Although I love my Neo Hybrid case. I think I would love this case a little better. I like that the phone is completely in the case.

I've been using my UAG Scout case for 2 days....love it. Thin on the sides so it doesn't seem bulky and it fits in my RAM Xgrip.

I'd like to see some pics if you don't mind

If you read the Samsung owners manual (first time I've opened one in forever) you'll find within the first few pages a statement from Samsung NOT to put a screen protector on the Note 3. I personally have never used one on any phone as they are quite unnecessary with Gorilla glass 1 2 and 3 anyway, look awful and ruin the experience for both viewing and S-Pen.

That is just a disclaimer for the people who buy cheap protectors and install them incorrectly and may result in phone not working properly,, just to cover their butts.. Gorilla glass is scratch resistant,, not scratch proof. A very nice glass protector does not dull the experience at all,, not even a little. As long as your comfortable that's all that matters.

I learned my lesson with my old Note 2. I stoppedd using a Zagg Invisible Shield and thought I could just rely on the Gorilla Glass 2 to keep the screen in new condition. WRONG. I, somehow, ended up with a very slight hairline scratch on the screen. I could barely see it but could if I tried...just knowing it was there bothered me so bad I had to sell the phone. I'll never be using a phone/tablet without a screen protector again. Ever. Never ever.

My yellow neo hybrid started to chip. I contacted Spigen and informed them. They're sending me a new band for free. They said it's a one time replacement. Pretty awesome of them. I'll definitely be buying the slim armor view case knowing they're backing their products.

No, they are sending me a free replacement yellow band. I'm surprised they're doing this. I'll post once I receive the new one.

Yup... my red one started chipping. So O switched to the Spigen Bounce... much happier with it... although it's not as colourful.
