Galaxy Note 3 - Case & Covers Thread

Re: Note 3 Case Thread.

I posted this case 4 days ago when I got it. My conclusion is stay away. After having it for only 4 days I noticed today a chip in the top corner of the inner removable case and upon closer investigation I saw that the entire right side of the case was cracked from top to bottom. I personally feel like it may have partially been because it fit the phone a little too tight. I had a hard time taking it off of the phone to return it. I will be looking for something else now.

I'm still bewildered that otterbox hasn't released their cases yet....

I almost bought this case. I'm glad I went for the S-view case instead.

I have one also it looks nice and no finger prints , doesn't scratch the only problem I have with it is that It's to tight and makes the power button very hard to push that's my only complaint but I just bought it for now until I get my uag outlander case!

Re: Note 3 Case Thread.

In reading this very informative thread on cases for the Note 3, I concluded that that picking a case is highly SUBJECTIVE. We can have a choice of 1000 different cases, and a 1000 users each pick a different case, and each user states that the case they picked is the best, and they ALL BE CORRECT!!! :D

After doing all that research, I ended up with the UAG Outland too. With the white Note 3, the vermillion/black/white combo will look very nice. I would have gone for one of the extreme protection cases if they were available for the Note 3, but it looks like none of the companies that specialize in extreme protection cases (Speck, Case-Mate, Seidio, Hardcandy, Ballistic, LifeProof, Griffin, Otterbox, Gumdrop, Lunatik, Cygnett, IvySkin, Incipio, TheJoyFactory, Qmadix, Rokform, SwitchEasy, Trident) have come up with cases for the Note 3, or if they did, the visual design just doesn't look anywhere near as nice as UAG. UAG is more like a mid-level protection, and I think that's plenty enough for normal daily use. You'd have to accidentally drop it from a multistory tall building in order to exceed its protective capability.

Now I just need to find the right vertical holster pouch that will fit the UAG.

Re: Note 3 Case Thread.

I'm currently using the Diztronic TPU case on my note 3 and I don't have one complaint about it. It fits well, feels good, looks good and the best part is it's only $9.99 on Amazon.

I have other cases on my list but not sure which ones I wanna buy first, or if I even want to spend the money on them when I have a case that works fine currently.

Cases on my list:

Spigen Neo Hybrid in Red. I also want Silver and White though.
Spigen Bounce
Spigen Slim Armor
UAG Navigator (or scout)

Re: Note 3 Case Thread.

I bought a Slim Armor Metal Slate and used it for about a day. Not really feeling it. Would rather have the TPU look instead. I would be willing to sell if anyone is interested. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. Nice looking case actually, just not for me. PM me if interested.

The spigen slim armor is a bit heavy but provides good protection. Biggest issue I have is that the bottom to side transition is chamfered. I would have preferred a more rounded transition. Overall, I am not complaining because I got it for $6.50, but if I paid a much higher price, I would prefer another case

If you don't mind a cheap price, I think this would fit the bill for a vertical holster pouch even with the UAG Outland..

Re: Note 3 Case Thread.

My new case. Love it. Only took a week to receive it. Ordered it from Amazon on 10/21 and got it 10/25.

How hard is it to remove the Spigen Neo Hybrid case? Reason is because I have to change to my spare battery every day because one battery doesn't last me the entire day.

Post back when you get it.........interesting, the sides look like they have some type of "grip". If they do, I might get one. Had one for my S3, but it was too sleek......

Re: Note 3 Case Thread.

Just got in the mail today my Spigen bounce in black. Just wanted to share with all the ladies and even gentleman that the case is great. Honestly could not be happier. I am a lady and I have small hands. The case does add a little weight and thickness but I have no problems what so ever handling the phone with this case on. In fact I think I like the way the phone fells in my hand better now with this case on.

IMO, the Bounce For $10 is a super deal.. What kind of screen protection you got?

It definitely is!
I got the Zagg invisible shield HD at best buy when I got the Note. The case and Zagg work great together.
