Galaxy Note 8 Tempered glass screen protector

Never mind, I got side tracked before I hit POST, lol, looks like someone already posted the video lol

This SUPCASE Galaxy Note 8 Edge-to-Edge Full Coverage Tempered Glass Screen Protector looks decent.

Has anybody received any reasonable explanations as to why all these tempered glass products only come with adhesive on the edges? Just a couple years ago most of the tempered glass products had adhesive on the full screen. What is the deal? Just because edges are curved is not a reason to apply adhesive only to the edges.

The only one I see available with full screen adhesive now is the Whitestone Dome Glass. BTW, go Birds!

I got this screen proctector, not sure how's the quality is. But I just got this because purchased two Ringke items, get 30% Lol. I was looking for glass proctector from iCarez, but seems like they haven't come out with one yet.

I ordered one for the N8 also. The one for the S8 was tacky for a while. I'm hoping there won't be drag using the SPen. The protector is very case friendly and applies easily. All the tiny bubbles were gone by the next day.

Anybody see this tempered glass screen protector? I wonder if this is a good one. I can see that this screen will flex in the center when touched but he says it's clear and can't see the dots.

I saw it and was quite skeptical. I always am if I have never heard of the product before and it is not on Amazon where I can ship it back for free and get every cent of my money back.

...and who is this dude? I'm waiting on U Droid Mania for my recommendations.

I'm with you - Would LOVE to know why.

There are some good hands-on reviews of tempered glass screen protectors on YouTube (specifically JimmyIsPromo who compares several different brands side by side). These are for the S8, but the point is the quality and durability.

His latest find for the Note 8 is the BASE Tempered Glass Protector. He has declared it the best of all the ones he has tested, and it's only $20. Product link: https://www.powerpeakproducts.com/base-tempered-glass-screen-protector-for-galaxy-note-8 It's "case-friendly" and remarkably durable.

This will be the first time I've ever considered a screen protector. I've never seriously damaged a phone whether by dropping or any other way. But there's something about a $900+ phone that makes me start feeling cautious, so I'm going to try a couple of the highest rated glass protectors. I'm not comfortable at all with "liquid" protectors. They may prevent scratches, but if you see cracked glass, it's your actual screen that's broken.

Insurance plans are all over the map when it comes to terms: some cover loss, theft...others do not. Square Trade has $99 deductible, but no coverage for loss. Samsung "Care" is $11.99/month and offers fast customer service, but again, no protection for theft as far as I can tell. Verizon plans are expensive but loss/theft is covered. On the other hand, they aren't obliged to replace your device with a new phone...just a refurbished one. Geez. Maybe I'll just get a leash for my Note 8.

Just saw the video for the Base Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Galaxy Note 8 by Powerpeak and it looked interesting because it is flat. It does not have any curved edges so it just sits flat on the phone like on the old Note 5. Don't know if I need it on the edges if it is in a case.
