Galaxy S4: charging paused. battery temperature too low

I changed Galaxy S4 Charging Port, but it isn't help me. Any other ideas? I take a look in the Internet everybody said what it is resolving they problem, looks like I'm not so lucky. My phone drown in few seconds, after 5 days it come a live, but the problem is the "charging paused. Battery temperature too low". I couldn't charge or communicate with the computer.
If anybody have any other ideas will be helpfull for me.
Thanks.

i'm having the same problem and i can give you a temporary solution to charge your s4. You should charge your phone in switch off mode..
and perhaps this is the problem of sensors. i think your temperature sensor is not working ( & mine too). and i don't know about the replacement cost of the censors. Mine gyroscope, compass, proxymity and pressure sensors are not working. And due to low temperature problem, sometimes i can not even use my camera flash..

Hey I have the same problem! I just replaces my USB port and now it says battery is too cold. You replaced it again? What was different?

pretty similar problem.

Temperature to low -> changed the USB charging port.
Ordered it for 15€ or so.... found cheaper after but oh well, 48h delivery is worth probably it.
Changed it refixed everything and ..... still doesn't work.

Battery temp is detected at 3.7°C which obviously is fully erroneous. And it doesn't move at all.

I ordered a spare battery and a battery charger, but it is a real pain in the %$*

Please I need help my galaxy s4 keeps showing these massage on charging .... Charging paused. Battery temperature to low

Do you know what this piece is called and how much it costs? Is it difficult to replace? I damaged it when trying to fix water damage affecting the screen (which worked) but have now got a bigger problem which means I cant charge it at all - or get any of my stuff off my memory.
Thanks :)

I think it's called a a USB port or USB board. I didn't do it myself. I had a phone repair fellow do it.

I experienced the same issue with my Samsung S4, it says "cannot use flash in low temperature" and also won't allow to charge even good battery. I changed the USB Flex and it works fine now.

I have the same problem.i think its because your temperature sensor get exposed to moisture.simply heat up your mobile for 2,3 minutes infront of fire then charge it i'll be okay then.

There is temperature sensor which is buried. You basically have to dismantle the entire phone to get to it. This is a bull**** problem and seems like it only happens to Samsung phones. It's nothing else like charger port or battery.

Hey guys, just thought I'd chip in for this particular issue on the s4.

Would recommend troubleshooting in the following order:
1. Check the usb port. Use a toothpick to clear any possible lint or dust inside, or use rubbing alcohol with a Q-tip to clean it thoroughly. If the inside of the usb port pin is bent, try to press lightly to straighten it back.
2. Open the phone, and check for any corrosion/discoloration on the usb board(bottom half of the phone). Also check for the same at connection between the motherboard and the battery. It's a square black box.
3. If it still doesn't charge, then it's time to order a USB charging port to replace.

Hope this helped you guys, I did 1 & 3 before realizing the cause was 2(the damn black box).
