charging paused battery temperature too low

My Galaxy s4 not charging tried to put it at the charger it displays a massage saying charging paused battery temperature too low I ca't even use my flash when taking pictures...I took it to service centre and the man tried to change the charging port with a brand new one but there was no avail....please help me with what problem could be

I can't get the attachment and having the same issue with the Note 4

It seems that some temperature sensor is going out of a whack. I got the same error message after using my samsung tablet (note 7) in the washroom while taking a shower. The humidity in the room seemed to have the error "charging paused, battery too low".

Simple solution:
get your sister's hair dryer.

Set it to warm or hot and blow it for 30 sec to a minute towards the charging port. Try it now.. Voila!!! It works like a charm (assuming the there is no physical damage to the port obviously).

I am having the exact same problem and I live in the tropics where it is usually in the 80's-90's everyday. I have bought an extra battery and it does the same exact thing. I can only charge the batteries on an external charger now.
No one knows what to do yet?

Hey there, I seem to have the same exact problem as you rn. If you dont mind me asking how did you overcome it? In a dilemma

my s4 also same prob like tat today 4days aldy in phone shop to repair. the boss also dun noe wht happen to my phone.
the boss is my bro's friend.
he say mayb gt 2prob
1.charging board repair in 1 day can get it rm100
2. temport if this prob u can throw ur phone aldy.
b4 go phone shop repair. i aldy go samsung service centre. them help me format aldy my phone also same prob charging paused temperature too low

can i noe what shold i do now?
becoz i bring my phone go there today 4day aldy no any message!

I had the charging port changed and it didn't fix it. I had the motherboard changed and it was fixed.

I came to this subject after purchasing a used S4. It wouldn't charge at all. So I went to Amazon and bought a usb charging port that came with a small tool kit from Menko Teleco. Easy enough installation, but that's when I encountered: Charging delayed. Battery temperature too low." So back to the forums where I read that many people solved this issue after replacing usb port. The product I bought from Menko Teleco was $4.93. I then decided to go back to Amazon and try it again and bought the same item from DIYMOBILITY. This item came without a tool kit, but since I got the kit from Menko, the installation was a snap and THIS FIXED MY PROBLEM!!! The item I purchased was : "Samsung Galaxy S4 M919 Replacement Charge Port Flex Cable Connector." Price was $6.73. --- PROBLEM SOLVED---

i had the same problem and here is how i fixed the issue. Prior to this issue the phone was hot to the touch so i assumed it was the battery and I bought a new battery. But to no avail I still had the same issue. Next i replaced the USB charging port. You have to make sure the port is for your phone. Look under the battery and it should tell you which model your phone is and then i went to ebay to order it for like 10 bucks. The first one did NOT work, I still had the same error. I figured I did something wrong or ordered the wrong part. I read on the forums that some people took 3 tries until it worked. Well, it took 2 tries. My phone works and charges now. I just wanted to share this info. I did look to make sure all connector pieces were attached correctly. In the top corner i had a prong that was bent and I reshaped it back to previous shape. Did this fix my phone? i dont know, but what I do know is i took all of these precautions and now my phone works. The freezer trick did not work btw.

After replacing usb board two times I decide to recheck for weyxiang solution #2. I had cleaned away corrosion with rubbing alcohol the first replacement.
2nd replacement board still no fix. disassembled a 3rd. time and cleaned around the ribbon cable socket removing leftover corrosion with contact cleaner and brushed lightly, FIXED! Thank You ! weyxiang

I have a solution that works at the moment. I warmed the battery (HB4A3 for HUAWEI G7210, not a smartphone at all) on the glass-ceramic hob at a hot temperature, with a piece of napkin in between, until you see a very slight sign of smoke, then remove it quickly. I put it in my mobile, and it loaded normally. I hope my experience works for you. Thank you

It is a software issue ... it does it when either of my batteries are in the phone. Now it has started to tell me when I try to take a photo with flash on. It started on my phone when it was only two years old and after speaking with a repairer - I bought the second battery.

I had the exact same problem but after I charged the battery with an external charger to 100%, I was able to charge the battery internally through the micro USB port again, as if this problem never existed. I'd suggest trying this before spending $ and effort on micro USB port replacement. EH 6-4-2016
