Nothing wrong with thatI'm blessed, I'll probably have both to go with my N5
What about outside those choices? Anything you see worth getting over these two devices?Given those two choices I'd be more likely to choose the M8.

Well being that the Samsung S5 is the same piece of 5h1t as the S4, I can't really see anyone with any true knowledge of smartphones choosing it over the M8. That being said, they'll still sell millions to unintelligent buyers on the shoulders of Samsung's marketing budget.

It's not really an opinion that the device is made out of slimy plastic while competing devices like the HTC One & iPhone are made out of aluminum and glass. It's also not an opinion that the OS takes up more than 8 GB of storage. It's also not opinion that Samsung services such as S-Voice are complete bloatware that are far inferior to built in services like Google Now. In fact, I didn't state any opinion at all. I called it a POS and backed it up with facts.
I think the G3 will be a fantastic device. Something I'll take a long look at later in the year if I decide to use the upgrade.Optimus G Pro 2, G2, G3, Note 3, or Z2.

You may be able to move parts of an app, but not the entire app itself. Can you put apps on the SD card on the S5?

I think it'll be great too. Eagerly waiting to see it.

Have you had a chance to use the G2? I got to a few weeks ago at Sprint and think it's a fantastic device. At first I thought the placement of hardware on the back was a bit odd and couldn't see myself using it - that has since changed. This is the one phone that would say me from my One

I had a Samsung 4...for about 4 days. I HATED it! Not even a contest. HTC ONE all the way!

I honestly would over to get the HTC M8 over the GS5 if it wasnt for the lack of SD card and removable battery
I do think HTC phones look much more sleek than the Galaxy phones, and yes with me being a music head, the "boom sound" and external speakers are something I would love
The GS5 did impress me with being water resistant though...that is a BIG PLUS for me
Spec wise, I honestly think we wont see much difference between the M8 and the GS5, but we will have to see when it is announced
My current choice so far is the Galaxy S5
I wonder if Samsung has any data about how many people actually put apps on their SD card.
I bet the numbers are in the low 1 percentiles. As long as you can store pictures and audio, I think nobody is going to care that much.
