Galaxy S5 (Verizon) will not recognize my SD card after update Sept. 26, 20014, why?

received an update for my Verizon Galaxy S5 & now the phone will not recognize my SD card. Notification that card is blank or has unsupported filesy...
I can read the card on my computer, photos,etc.

Welcome to Android Central! I would backup all the data on the SD card onto your computer right now, then use the phone to reformat the card. Then copy all of the data back to it. I've read other posts here about SD cards in Samsung devices getting messed up if they remain plugged in during a system update.

Try a Cache Partition wipe, said to be good practice after an update.
