Just got my s8 ultra today. This thing is massive. Will post more once I get to play with it some more. Although upset that the keyboard cover which was free wont be shipped until March 25th now.

Maybe they are secretly doing it to see how many people keep it after 14 days. Less keyboards given means less returns for those that are just trying out the tablet size lol.

Is getting the tab s8+ through Verizon better than if you had just gotten Wi-Fi?. I am thinking about returning it and just avoid 20 monthly service fee

I ordered a S8 from Amazon on 02/17. Was told March 1 delivery date. I received notice today that I should get it tomorrow. Sweet and on my birthday.

I prordered my ultra on the 1st day. Got tracking for delivery the 24th. Then updated to the 23rd. Then got a notice of a delay for unknown reasons. Woke up this morning and they will notify me when they have a delivery date for me. It went from Texas to Atlanta. Now they don't seem to know where it is! Just my luck! Its either damaged or lost and i will probably have to reorder making the delay even longer. And I probably will have to fight them for the free keyboard like I have had to fight them in the past with other issues. Just my luck!
Received my Ultra this afternoon. Awesome tablet but keyboard case not arriving until late March!

Stay on FedEx about tracking your package. A few people on the S22 forums have had their phone lost and stolen.

Had an email saying my tab S8 is delayed until March 11th.
It's not the end of the world, but waiting until the morning it's supposed to be delivered to send this email is incredibly sloppy.

I got my tab S8 ultra delivered Sunday. At least I don't have to reorder the preorder!
Here are my thoights
The ultra is a nice big tablet. In the years I have been using tablets, the sizes have always changed. My first was a small Samsung. At that time I wanted it to also be a phone. Then I went to Motorola xyboard then xoom. Screens were getting bigger. Then, for some reason screens were getting incrementally smaller. An inch here, 1/2 inch there. When VZW had to warranty replace one of mine, there was no option but go a bit smaller with the Tab S3 (?). I went from there to the much bigger S7÷. What a difference! I loved it. Now I have moved to the S8 ultra. WOW! I love the size and the extra small bevels giving as much screen space as possible. I dont care about the notch. I'm not a power user. I don't play games or use much social media at all. I watch video for the most part and the difference, for me, is noticeable. However, this is not a tablet that is easy to hold in your hands. It is extremely thin and light for its size. That is a good thing. But doing much while holding it is difficult because of the very narrow bevels. Its hard for me, with my big hands, to keep incidental touches on the edges from affecting whatever I would want to do. This tablet is more suited to be used in a stand or mount. Luckily for me, that is how I use it anyway. I have a mount in my truck that holds it securely so I can watch while waiting to get loaded or unloaded. When I want to send an email or do other stuff, I will attach the keyboard or use the Bluetooth keyboard I have to type out what it need. I was in the market for a new laptop. This will do very good for what I want to and need to do. I love the large screen. I love the power I probably won't begin to touch. I am very satisfied with this tablet (so far) . Yes, I like the bigger screen because K am a big guy with big hands and an old guy with failing eyesight. I always said if they make a tablet that I can use as a phone then I would do that. The S8 Ultra can do that with my phone. But I don't have to because I also have the Fold 3 and use itopened up almost exclusively. Between that, my S7+ and now the S8 ultra, I'm good (at least till
the next shiny thing comes out)

Yesterday, I got a shipping notification for my keyboard cover, expected 3/4, then 3/2, but 3/3 according to Fed Ex. Now, hoping I can get the Oixar screen protector on. Wanted a Spigen with the install tray, but can't find them anywhere.
I would stick with the wifi version. For me (and probably for many people), there isn't much value in the cellular version when it comes to tablets. I generally use the tablet at home where I have wifi. Anywhere else I bring the tablet, there is usually wifi anyway (hotel, airport, cafe, someone's house, work, etc), and I don't usually use it in between. If I do, I can just tether from my phone. Plus, the way Samsung offers the configuration options, I value the extra storage over having cellular capability.

Checked my S8 Tab Ultra order today, order confirmed Feb 16 with expected delivery April 15, now expected April 29. Sigh, LOL, slipped by 2 weeks.
