Galaxy Watch4 pre-ordered, anyone else?

I pre-ordered watch4 in green and traded my watch active 2. This is the first time I ordered LTE model. Really excited.
 
So I just looked at the pre-order page on Samsung.com. While it still says the 46 mm LTE model ships so that you get it on the 27th, you can now only get the sport band. I ordered hybrid leather. Curious how many of you without shipping info did the same.

I wanted the leather for my husband and by the time I ordered only black sport was available.
 
I woke up this morning to see shipping notifications from Samsung and the Samsung Shop app.

Samsung is now saying expected delivery on the 27th and FedEx still hasn't updated to show they received the package as Samsung claims. Guess I'll just keep riding this rollercoaster to see where it takes me.

Wish I was that lucky. Absolutely not movement on the Green GW4 LTE ordered on 8/11. Samsung Shop says backordered but shipping week of 8/23, really? Are you in US?

Yes, I'm in Ohio, and the warehouse my watch/duo charger are coming from is in TX evidently.

Speaking of, I'm wondering if that also had any impact on how Samsung processed orders? They were pushing the hell out of those duo chargers (perhaps overstock and people weren't buying enough). Did you order one with your preorder?

No, maybe that "black-balled" me for not ordering one. As of 8:13 am in Northern VA - Shop Samsung still says "Backordered, Will ship the week of Aug 23, 2021" (I ordered prompty on 8/11 and it was not backordered then) and samsung.com still shows "PREORDER - Expedited. EXPECTED DELIVERY August 27, 2021". It didn't mean crap to preorder promptly in my case.

Same here we woke up to order has shipped. I see nothing on Fed Ex app but Samsung now says shipped and mine changed from 8/31 to 8/27. I am off Wed-Fri so I am excited now can't wait to get it. Fed-Ex hasn't received my package yet it said when I went to Samsung website and clicked track order and then I punched in the tracking # in my app it says delivery date will be updated when Fed-Ex receives the package but still says estimated the 27th. I'll take that over the 31st.

I need to decide if I want to try to restore from back up or since it's wear os if I should start fresh. Will restoring from back up keep your settings? Like mine never makes noise it vibrates some I think. I guess I could start fresh just wondering about my watch faces I have. I'm sure their will be plenty new ones.

I just got a notification from Samsung that my watch has been shipped with a FedEX tracking number - it was originally scheduled for 8/31 now 8/27. Considering I just ordered 2 days ago that's fast for Samsung.

I got the power pack as $50 reward since I already have the wireless charger from pre-ordering my S21 last winter. The power pack is back ordered.

Goes to show, no guarantee that pre-ordering on first day means anything. I'm still showing pre-order from my GW4 LTE green placed on 8/11 and you have a shipping noticed on an order placed 2 days ago. No powerpack, no fast fulfillment!

I'm starting to wonder why we pre order at all. This wouldn't be the first time I've pre ordered something only to have it come a week after release day and could have walked into best buy and gotten it then.

I've always pre-ordered through T-Mobile and I did always get it on or before release day, but often didn't get shipping info until the last minute. I agree it's frustrating and if it hasn't shipped by Friday I'll just cancel my order and go into a store.

I guess the only thing you're getting is a $50 credit. Plus if you are trading something in and pre-ordered early enough, you got some additional value for your previous device.
 
In Canada we don't even have a cancel button. I ordered the white zflip3 and had to call in to cancel it once I realized it is a special order and takes longer. I'm sure we all know how fun being on one of those calls is. I would have to do the same thing to cancel again. But seriously, is all this stress and annoyance really worth it rather than just walking into the store on the 27th? I'm not so sure anymore.
 
Girlfriend has been saying she wants a smart watch for forever, and her birthday is this weekend, so I got on the Shop Samsung app this morning and ordered one. Nothing to trade in; used the $50 credit on a duo charger.

I still don't want a smart watch, but we'll see if having one around me all the time changes that.
 
So, I got the notification from Samsung at 425am that my product has shipped. Been watching FedEx app all day and they still show they haven't received it yet. Hopefully they just don't update their system often unless it's an expedited shipping.

I really prefer to use UPS, but anymore they are only used for part of the journey, then they hand off to USPS where it takes just as long to deliver only a fraction of the distance remaining.

Mine finally shipped and then I got another text from Fed Ex that says it has been rescheduled to Thursday instead of Friday. 😊
 
Got my tracking number from Verizon yesterday and still only showing label printed.

Verizon will wait until the last minute to ship :-\

Yeah, almost immediately after I posted that I got a notification from the FedEx app showing they finally received the package from Samsung. Samsung waited till COB before finally dropping off to FedEx. Thankfully, even with the package they are sticking with the 8/26 delivery.
 
I'm happy for all of you. Just wish Samsung would get off their a$$ and move on my Pre-Order from 8/11.
