Gallery will not load

Everything was running fine for me on 2.1 until I ejected the SD card to load new photos. I put the SD card back in and the gallery is just stagnant and it constantly says "loading". I have uploaded pics just last week and have had no issues. Why tonight I have no idea. Anyway, I cannot even access my camera as it says "Preparing SD card". I have a ton of pics on it but it has never taken this long to load before.

I have cleared the data and cache and that has not solved the issue. I even did a factory reset and still no fix. Any ideas as to what is going on?

Thanks for the input. I just needed to let it sit overnight and it was fine this morning. The Droid has never had the issue of loading the pics quickly so I am not sure what is really going on. Anyways.it's fixed.

I do notice sometimes my most recent photos don't show in the gallery, but if i go to the camera they are there and then back to gallery they then typically show.

Mine doing same thing......New pics don't load till the next day? STRANGE.

MINE DOES THE SAME THING!! IT FREAKS ME OUT! I'm thinking it's a 2.1 error... Its really annoying. I hope its fixed soon!
