Yeah, I've had this problem since running the original stock OS. I use GO SMS now, and can actually see when they aren't sending (the little arrow just keeps flashing), but when I using the just the regular SMS app, I often wouldn't notice for hours, and wonder why no one was responding to me.

Oddly enough, it has not happened to me (yet) on BAMF Forever...but I'm pretty sure it's either an Android or Thunderbolt bug, rather than one specific to this ROM. At least it has been in my case.

Downloaded 1.0.6 gotta say great rom, battery life is not as good as with gingeritis, but the fact that I haven't had a glitch and that nfl app works more than make up for that.

This latest update is probably the best rom I've used so far. Granted I'd prefer to use an AOSP ROM so I can get a bit more performance out of the phone but this is definitely the best sense rom.

anyone having issues with txts not sending or getting them

out of no where my phone saids its send but the other person never gets my txt or i dont get them iether i have to do a batt pull one a day when i notice its happening

I doubt it has anything to do with what 3rd party app you use, as the underlying process for sending and receiving messages is the same regardless -- I was just pointing out that when I use GO SMS, I can actually see that the message is indeed stuck in "sending" mode, whereas I never noticed that with the default messaging app. It seems SMS is one thing Android as an OS has always been "buggy" with.

In the 6 months I've had my Thunderbolt, it's only happened to me 4 or 5 times...but when it does it's really annoying, to both me and the person waiting for me response.

yeah i did know about that issue but never run into it till now.
once i heard about that issue i downloaded a 3rd party app to avoid having it. i just downloaded updates for handcent i hope it helps with the txt

Hey guys,

This is my first time rooting. BAMF Forever is the 3rd and best ROM I've tried. I really like it. The biggest problem I have right now is with the front facing video in apps like GTalk and G+. It works, but it's sideways. Does this happen on all ROMs? I've seens a couple others, but I'm not sure if it's TB-wide or just a couple ROMs.

my tbolt keeps switching to 3g by itself even on LTE mode. anyone else having this problem? Im in the LA area

Kernel's can improve battery life, but I don't believe they are the overall factor in battery life... if that were the case wouldn't everybody use the best/most efficient kernel. I'd have to believe it's about much more than just the kernel.

I mentioned it a page or two back, but yes, it's a known issue. Probably an issue with the OS version and/or the app(s) more so than the ROM itself.

I have to say after a bump charge/battery calibration, and Imoseyon's latest lean kernel oc'd a bit, and 368 minimum it has been the best performing ROM I've ever had on my Bolt. I can't wait for Adrynalyne to get his hands on the official source to make this ROM even better!

Tango worked on my stock Bolt. I haven't tried with this ROM. I'm in the middle of battery calibration, on the 3rd drain right now. I'm using the stock Bolt now but will switch after 3rd drain and recharge likely in the morning. I haven't even reloaded my apps yet. I pulled the SIM and went back to stock until calibration is finished. For the record I wiped data factory reset x3 wiped cache x3 format cache, data, and system x3 remembered I forgot to delete extras folder. Then went back and did the same thing again after deleting the folder. I hope the issues that I had before will be gone . I can't wait to play with this BAMF.

I just flashed this rom (first time rooting really) but I have no cell signal. Do I have to flash a radio as well?

Yes... you need a compatible radio or you will have no network service.

2.11 is the latest radio... you need to flash one for LTE and one for CDMA.

Make sure you activate the GPS because the weather retrieves data from the gps... Go to Settings / Locations / Check Standalone GPS Services and then open Google Maps and allow location to be found and then weather should work..
