I checked out your website - you are extremely talented, my friend. Beatiful work. It's great to have you participate in the forum and respond to requests. Thank You. JazakAllahu Khair.

Haha. Nope, I'm still here! Thanks for your terrific work. You seem to be the only one making useful apps!

You are welcome :)
Btw, Sunday in the bar char is not working..opps I did it again. I am making app every 2-3 days which result in "bugs" sadly

The keypad I coded sucks.. I will also improve

I will fix Sunday very soon, if you have recommendations or other issues I will do as well

Thank you all, I wouldn't be able to do all these apps without your help and ideas.

I have vibrating alarm (quite alarm) rejected by store. They couldn't install it on phones without any known reason. I will recode it if necessary

I took few days rest, I was tired LOL.. I will start making more apps soon

I want to make integrated apps - that connect your phone- instead of standalone. I will recheck ideas here soon .. you can still post your requests

Hi Index77!
You responded to this previously but I just wanted to throw out the reminder of these two app ideas:

1) Scoreboard Widget. Pick a game and follow the score live on watch. This would be huge.
2) Voicemail Notification and ability to check it. Currently when you receive a voicemail on your phone the notification isn't pushed to the watch. Would be nice to see it, and to be able to click on it to call your voicemail to check the message.

Thanks again...

I don't find free service, the cheapest for soccer only cost $100 per year!

I don't have compatible phone but using wifi tablet. Can't do and test voice mail.. no idea to be honest

Okay Index77...how about this one (unless there's already a way to do this...)

Idea: Allow a customization of brightness on the watch controlled by time of day.

Explanation: For example, let's say you have it on level 4 brightness all day long, but you want it to lower to 1 or 2 at night, you can set that to occur automatically at a pre-set time. Allow for not only the level of brightness to adjust but also allow for the user to control the exact time of day/night in which this change takes place.

This might be a less complicated than my scoreboard widget app. :)

THANKS!

I will check if I can change the brightness of the system (that is not reverted when the app closes)

But why don't you double click with two fingers to launch the brightness settings quickly

I'd rather not set brightness as my double tap shortcut. There are more commonly used apps I'd rather have that used for. The point of this brightness app would be so that it happens automatically in the background at certain times of the day so you don't have to set it yourself. Hopefully, like you said, you can change the brightness of the system with out it reverting back automatically). This would be a nice app, I think.

Hi,
I am tizen/android developer and I was reading some topics in this forum and I noticed that some users complain about lack of apps for Gear 2.

Well, here is the good news, Samsung announced Gear 2 Developer Challenge next month with total prize $1,250,000

Samsung Wearables

So, many apps will be coming next 2-3 months

Can you suggest apps? I would be great for us - the developers -!! :)

I'm sure there are a number of them that would be great but the single greatest one for me (and which they had on the original Gear) is Evernote.

Data toggle that allows you to turn your phone's wifi and 4g on and off, some way of texting (Fleksy), a remote for your phone( if u have it hooked up to the tv u can use the watch to navigate thru it), netflix remote (again if you have phone connected to tv).

There is already an app to toggle Wi-Fi, data, location, etc. It's called "Instant Settings"

A humble request -an app that would show what is causing the battery drain on my gear 2. It doesnt even last half a day. :(

TIA!

dreamur, fwiw, I had that behavior crop up after a week or so with my first Gear 2. I sent it to Samsung and they replaced it.

Today I started my next app and it is probably one of the most requested app for Gear (No, not evernote..LOL). Someone requested here also but I will announce it later. Work started well today but need more research to see what more features I can code.

All my next apps are going to be "more advanced" and integrated with your phone. Not planning to code standalone apps this period

After a break for a week, I restored my energy

Wish me luck.

"I agree there are great ideas here for apps I would download. The app I would like to see would be apps to make my CrossFit workouts better.
A Timer that would allow it to be a HIIT (High-intensity interval training) timer were you set timer for how long to work out, how long to rest, and number of rounds, (ie. 30secs, 10secs, 8 rounds) a Timer that you set a time and it go down from a specific time (ie. a 20 minute total workout), and a Timer that shows time to complete workout (ie. workout lasted 25min, 10sec) Plus an area where you can keep track of the number...."- the reason why i checked on this page looking for an app for my gear 2.

I'd rather not set brightness as my double tap shortcut.

Double tap the screen with two fingers. That does not change your "double tap" shortcut - pressing the "home button" twice. So far, I don't think there is a way to change the two finger, double tap shortcut.
