gear 2 application challenge

The multiple counter app requested by lizardchest and others is on the way. Week or 2 and you should get it (Certification takes time on SamsungApps, not my fault. It is not like play store)

The app can be used in kitchen or gym or for presentations

Next app, FlashLight or other app requested yesterday by email :)

I think Gear 2 brightness is not the best for strobes but I would try it and see the results..other ideas about dancing flashlight will be tested as well

Follow me on twitter if you want to know when the apps will be ready .. (I hope it is legal to post my twitter account here, otherwise remove it admins)

I don't live in US
This what I see when I open Netflix website :)

"Sorry, Netflix is not available in your country yet."

Bummer. I dumped comcast Cable about 4 years ago and for 8 bucks a month we have Netflix which has more stuff to watch for me then Network TV. I put up an outside antenna which gives us over 50 channels but I still don't watch much network TV

Health: something similar to "Water Your Body." A simple water intake logging app with reminders...

considering this as my next to-do app, write down key features you are looking for

Something like:
History: how many days chart, or only one day tracking?
With reminders or no reminders
etc...

The simpler the better for small screen!

Seriously??? You need your watch to remind you to drink water?

Seriously, you'd be, surprised to see how handy it is. I usually live off of my coffee. :) Besides, do you really need your watch for half of the features that it's designed for? We all have different uses for different things, that's the beauty of it all. To each their own.

Here's my idea: 1. weekly/daily tracking to compare intake, 2. simple goal and reminder system to drink in order to accomplish set goal. 3. Easy setting to toggle ml or glass size.

A really good programmable stock market app that would let you choose which stocks to show.
An RSS app.

I'd never think about it but many people use these apps. I was reading Flipboard today and noticed an article made a review about some reminder apps and drink water app for android was one of them. I realized then it is nice app to do for Gear and it has been already requested here

Thanks, I will do my best and will start in few days. I will check some of these apps on iPhone or Android and I will try to simplify things

1- Using database on Gear is not strong and flexible (because it is Web app), I will see what I can do for tracking data. Otherwise 2 and 3 can be implemented

Your body will tell you when you need to drink more water. If you don't believe me deliberately get yourself very dehydrated and tell me how wonderful you feel

I don't know if this request is already out there, and if so please point me in the right direction! Is there a music player that can play .wav music files? I loaded up a lot on my phone, but realized "unrecognized format"! Please help!!!?! I was hoping to play music on my watch to get me to walk while on break during my work day.

Thanks in advance,

Ray

Strange, Gear plays these format according to the programming docs [Audio: AAC, AMR, MP3, OGG, WAV, WMA]

Your quick solution is to encode these files to mp3 files using free software like FormatFactory

Here is one that should not be too difficult. The other day my wife decided to take a picture of our new born with our brand new gear 2. The room was nice and quiet... and our baby Jason is fast asleep and mommy wants to preserve the moment forever. She taps the brand new gear to camera and it sounds like a damn lightning bolt goes off in the room. After the baby stops crying and after me and my wife get done arguing about the baby crying...I spend about half an hour trying to figure out how to turn the camera shutter off. A way to turn the shutter off would be a great start for this paper weight.

I have released new app, vCounter, the multiple countdown countup app requested by forum's members
