My theory is that these 'location' and 'audit' excuses are simply a ploy that gives them an out if some of us decided to file any type of formal complaint for not receiving our S2s. It's odd that people who submitted (for example) on the 18th, were approved on the 19th, and had received their S2 by the end of March. I think PL/S/V realized something had gone wrong with the early submissions and this entire 'audit' excuse is their out. They can each blame the other. They can say our submissions were all delayed because there were questions and if supplies were exhausted by the time it all worked out, oh well. I think it gives them an opportunity to maintain the first come, first serve line, while claiming it was our 'questionable' submissions that caused us to be last in line. Conspiracy Theory! (Still hoping I get a watch out of this nightmare, tho'.)
I have a feeling those sitting on label created from 4/28 will see them start to be "in transit" tonight but it won't update on fedex DM until early morning.....
That's not really an outlandish theory. Everything pretty much points to they screwed up and are now just trying to cover their a$$.My theory is that these 'location' and 'audit' excuses are simply a ploy that gives them an out if some of us decided to file any type of formal complaint for not receiving our S2s. I'm happy for everyone that is receiving their items (finally). I'm still trying to understand why I'm not. I think it's to call Verizon. I followed all the rules, submitted before the amended terms & conditions, bought via verizon online, approval email, yada, yada, yada. Still, it seems like everyday, people are receiving their S2s, while I keep being told that I've passed (all 4 levels of audit, lol) and that I'm getting an S2, yet, it's still going to take 6-8 weeks to get mine. I'm just at a loss as to why it's taking so long, while everyone else seems to be getting a resolution. Is anyone else out there who submitted on 3/9-3/12 who is still listed as pending with no end in sight???
Tomorrow will be 8 weeks from my submission date. It took six weeks to get my VR. It will have taken 7 weeks and 6 days to get my S2.

So for those of you receiving the watch - Are you activating it? Did it cost you anything besides the $5 a month to do so? I was one of the scammed and received a VR instead. I bought a watch off craigslist cause that is what I wanted! But when I asked about activating the watch when I was talking to a Verizon rep he told i would have to pay $35 for a line activation.
I was never going to receive the watch like I registered for but I did agree to keep the VR and get a $200 samsung promo code. Now what to get...
