I spent 105 with tax. I look at it like spending $105 for a $99 headset, $50 in games, $300 for the watch, and $50 for an extra strap. Makes me feel just a tiny bit better.

myself, like others, had a status change. i went from a ship date to a shipment pending. Called PL today & after waiting (#43 in line) they seemed to have cleared it up. The operator read back my submission date & my acceptance email date. He went on to say that I would receive my S2, in 6 weeks from acceptance email date. the original offer said 4-6 weeks but he said 6 was the magic number. so by his calculation im a week and a half out from 4-23. Hope this helps, hope its true and hope its the right package lol
Got vr though they confirmed it should be s2.

I went through xfinity and got a VR also. But several times PL told me that location code qualified for S2, that it was a verizon online purchase (which it was). This is what the PL rep on phone told you? Why did they not tell me that is the reason then?
They are clueless. They told me I'm getting S2 today, then supervisor tells me I'm getting VR. Offered the 200 which for now I declined. Wanna see if I can push them more...

My submission for Gear S2 was received and approved. Status is shipment pending. Received the bait and switch email yesterday (4/27) Just off the phone with PL. They are "Looking into it, and will give me a call back by end of day". Wasn't offered the $200 cert. My confidence in receiving a return call is slim to none. Revised promo terms indicate "only 35,000 Gear S2 available for the promotion on a first come first serve basis". So they are trying to back peddle it would seem.

I submitted 3/9 also and status still shows as pending but my s2 was sitting at my front door (Richmond, VA) yesterday. Delivered by fedex yet nothing ever showed up in fedex manager. Keep an eye open for it to be at your door unexpectedly.

Just got off the phone, was told that my submission just got verified. This is after it was submitted 3/9.....ridiculous. I was told the same thing almost 2 weeks ago. The lady was not helpful at all, she even said that she couldn't verify whether i'll receive the gear s2 or the VR. At this point, i've given up; I can't wait for the new iphone to come out in September, then i'm switching back.
I don't get why it doesn't show up on fedex manager. I've been seeing a lot more of that for this stupid promotion.
