I get that lots of people are irritated with the polarized sunglasses issue, but for those who are on the fence about the device, go look at one first. Not every set of polarized lenses are the same and polarization can be implemented at different angles. Different sunglasses will show the phone to be fine in landscape and others will be fine in portrait. I have zero issues with my sunglasses and this phone in portrait.
As for the camera issues that chillywill and others are talking about w/ overexposed areas in photos, you might not know that HTC is no longer metering the photo based on the spot you're focusing on. If you tap the screen it will focus on that spot and you'll see a little vertical bar that allows you to quickly swipe up or down to increase or decrease exposure. It feels a little counter-intuitive at first but after a couple of days with it I began to prefer this method. I feel like it gives me a little more individual control even in auto mode. Now if they would just give me a Photosphere mode...
