It appears that after the upgrade he only way to charge the phone is by using the OEM charger. All the other non-LG chargers that had worked with the Optimus previously (I only use quality chargers like Apple, Belkin, Kensington) no longer work.
Can the others confirm?

i have this issue also. i can't charge from my belkin surge protector with a USB port anymore. i had to bring my OEM charger into the bedroom

I am currently using an old samsung rant usb cord from my laptop to charge with no issues. running gROM 1.1.

one from an old sanyo scp-2700 i have lying around is working. maybe it has something to do with the amperage they put out

Although my Gingerbread update failed and WiFi no longer works, my Optimus S continues to charge via my PC by the supplied USB wire.

Dang I shoulda checked with this forum before attempting the update!!

Heads need to roll!!
