As an apple iPhone user for four years I will say I have taken my iPhone 4 in twice for repairs at the apple store and they didn't replace it. They told me to buy another or pay 100 to repair the loose wire that made it so I couldn't talk unless I was using the speaker function. This was because I didn't have a 4s I'm assuming. Why would I want to upgrade to a 4s?it had nothing really different other than siri. The ios updated everything else. Now with an android I upgraded from my galaxy 3 to 4 because there is of course a better battery. I even had the iPhone 5 and finally jumped ship when I realized I kept upgrading for the same thing over and over. The 5 has been out for quite sometime and even half the apps still do not use all the screen real estate. They are missing the ball by sticking with the same thing. Sure their ios is smooth and they have imessage BUT I cannot do anything on it other then text, call or play games. There is no customization. I'm not trying to knock it because if simple is what you want then it's a great phone. I don't understand the huge apple android debate. If you don't like android then go back to iPhone. Don't slam android simply because it's not for you. Either you like it or you don't but just make a decision. No one can make it for you. People ask for help to convert over to android and the android users have been nice. They helped me when I switched but complaining about something when people are trying to help on an Android forum probably isn't going to get you too far

the iPhone has 16 32 or 64GB models. it doesn't have a 4.7" display but it does have a HD display.

No, HD is 720p or higher. The iPhone is 640x1136. That's a major drawback.

The N4 is $299 unlocked and free on-contract. That's where it comes from.

I know about play music I've had my music library stored to it since it launched. It still doesn't negate the fact that icloud backup and restores are much better than Google's equivalent without root

Your opinion is your opinion. I just see iCloud holds the music.. Google music does the same. Both avaliable for stream / download anytime. Same thing for each OS imo.

I have a nexus 4 dude, no Android does not kick iPhone "arse" STILL apps are better on iOS like mailbox, infinity blade 2,clear, haze etc.

I have a N4 I love it is as much as my iPhone 5 I can't have opinions? cool. also the the iPhone DOES have an HD display a 720p display. not "full HD" but where the **** in my post do I say it does? anyway sorry bye I don't talk to people that are blind Android fanboys.

In my country the 16GB N4 is more expensive then the 16GB iPhone 5.
But my uncle sent me my N4 directly from the US play store.

We said he is probably better off on iOS becuase he doesn't want to put in the minimal effort to learn android that would provide a better experience in the end.

Probably where he said iPhone doesn't have 4.7 full hd and you said it does have hd. You should have said. Right on both counts in fact it is not even 720 so it isn't even 720hd, which is 1280x720

Lol where does Over Priced come from?
Upgrade Price....
iPhone 5 =$199
S4=$199
HTC One=$199

or Full Retail....
iPhone 5 $649
S4= $639
HTC One=$599

All of those seem really close in price to me.

At full retail, the iphone is most expensive, but if a home button or volume rocker quits working you can walk into an Apple store and walk out with a replacement. Can't do that with HTC.
Not sure if the Samung within bestbuy will do that either.

Oh... You missed the Nexus 4. And it's not about contract pricing. IPhones are always the most expensive. The iPhone 5 is $30 more than the HTC One in Canada yet it's nearly 6 months old.

...that said, I really have no idea why you guys make this thread grow... Someone feels more comfortable with iPhone and Apple's environment? It's fine, let them be. Just keep enjoying whatever device YOU have and let others enjoy their devices.

The only issue I have with this comment is that someone made a thread that is in and of itself a slam of Android. So even though it is their personal opinion etc. they chose to make a public post about a product that puts it in a bad light. Someone who may be considering buying an Android device may choose not to because of this thread. So, like any public news or post it is up to the public to make their opinions known in order to allow people to see both sides and make an educated decision.

I can understand why the OP is going back to Apple - I had iPhone for years, and when I went to Android (Galaxy Note) I nearly went back to Apple. It took me about 5 weeks before I finally 'got' Android completely. iOS is excellent, it does what it is supposed to very well indeed and is simple to use. The iPhone camera is excellent and battery life is good too.

Having said that, I could never go back to an iPhone until they sort iOS out, because it is so old now. HTC are really pushing modern design of smartphones now. I LOVE the concept of Blinkfeed, even if it needs a few tweaks here and there. To have that newsfeed on your home screen, updating you on what's going on in the world and with your friends, I think that is really neat.
The camera is, for me, ideal too - I take most of my pictures indoors, where I get tired of having to turn the flash on and off due to poor lighting. The One is brilliant here. I love the idea of Zoe's and the highlights, they are really modern and fresh. Android itself has many nice little touches the iPhone simply does not have. I think the OP could have given Android a little longer, but there you go. Good luck to him, I hope iOS is the great new update everybody has been hoping for!
