Google assistant won't take screenshots

When I tell the google assistant to take screenshot she says " Okay. Touch to continue. Then a popup appears telling me to enable screenshots in settings. I have done that and it still gives me the same prompt. See the attached screenshots (taken with the palm swipe gesture). It says to restart the assistant. I closed the app and restarted the phone. What am I missing?

Use your hand swipe it or use Bixby ...
G.A is excellent for web search only ... IMO

Can anyone confirm that this works on their phone? When it says "touch to continue", what is it displaying? Touch what? Screenshot please.

I just solved it. I had to turn on "use screen context" in the Assistant/phone settings. See screenshot.

If GA takes a screenshot is it a shot of GA itself?

No. It takes a screenshot of the screen that was displayed prior to opening Assistant.
