China does not practice 'state capitalism'. They are communist. They are a racist, xenophobic country in there own right.
You couldn't even access this site or say what you say here, over there without getting either locked up, or have your 'social credit' reduced.
Your open anger at the USA is misplaced. There's a reason people from all over the world risk everything to come here. The combined good which America has spread throughout the world, especially in post ww2 times, is the most generous act of any nation in history. Learn about who rebuilt Europe and Japan after the war.
China does not have that 'problem'. In fact, right now, Hong Kong residents are literally in fear of their lives once China regains full control over the island.
Do some reading.
Wow, this has gotten political.
But to call China (and by extension Chinese people) racist is unacceptable. Hong Kong residents aren’t ‘fearing for their lives’. They were opposing an extradition bill which allowed criminals to be extradited to mainland China. That bill has since been delayed indefinitely but the protests have shown no signs of coming to a halt.
Seriously
@methodman89, try and form an argument without resorting to racist insults against an entire country and its people. You’re the ignorant one here.
ZTE and Huawei were both targeted because they were ahead of US companies in the race to 5G. That race was practically over...they’d already won, especially Huawei. But the ban was designed to harm their business as much as possible. The security fears haven’t been proven correct.
And China has an odd political system. POLITICALLY they are a Communist country. The Communist Party has an absolute grip on power. But ECONOMICALLY they are capitalist (strange I know)...that’s the reason for their economic success.
I wouldn’t say Communism is close to utopia, but at least China doesn’t have a long track record of invading other countries, changing their regimes and then causing instability. The US is a little like 2 face in a way. If they want to help you then they’re really friendly. Get on their wrong side (no matter for how small or petty a reason, especially with their current President) then it’s fire and fury. I’m not saying either of these countries is better than the other.
But my main message is, don’t call China and its people racist...that shows a sizeable degree of small-mindedness.
Note: @any Mods here what are the rules when it comes to debates/arguments? I’m trying to not directly insult anyone.
