Google Fi contract or non

I wanted to Google fi and the nexus phones because I"m planning on traveling abroad and maybe keeping fi long term depending on how I feel about it. I was curious if I can just cancel my service with google fi at anytime as long as I payed whatever I needed for the monthly bill? I currently have verizon which I don't pay for but we all know how there international prices are with data and all that.

Fi is a no-contract service. You can cancel any time, if you pay per month for a phone you will be on the hook to pay off whatever is owed for the device but that's it.
