Re: T-mobile has them on the floor

Yeah....the word "rational" doesn't quite describe it. I'll let you believe what you want to believe.

Re: T-mobile has them on the floor

Okay quick question can anyone confirm that stores that previously said no on the list actually have stock now?

Re: T-mobile has them on the floor

Wait nevermind, this is the most important part. If you're in Southern California, the Mission Viejo mall is where I was and the girl I talked to said they were infact selling the phone today for T-Mobile and had a few in the back so feel free to go in and get one.

Damn! Wish I had known this earlier when I was out today!!!

Re: T-mobile has them on the floor

If your so worried about the camera quality that you do not buy the phone then go out and purchase a camera to carry around with you.

Re: T-mobile has them on the floor

Let's keep in mind folks your all welcome to your opinion and were not always going to agree. Hardest part is remembering to not take things personal and let it get under your skin to the point you lash out at others in the thread.

Keep the above in mind and the discussion on topic and moving forward and all will be okay.

Because people want to carry those .... There's s reason why I want a decent camera phone so I don't need a point and shoot

Re: T-mobile has them on the floor

After a family dinner in Lancaster, Ohio we stopped by the T-Mobile store. I just wanted to mess around with it for a few minutes to see if I liked it while the wife and kids waited in the car. As with others that have posted, I had to wait while the salesman went to the back to get it. However once he came out with it, I had to wait about 10 minutes for it to even have enough of a charge to even come on. Needless to say this cut into the time I had to mess around with it. Hopefully there will be one in the Verizon store by next weekend or so.

Should've picked up a note, then at least you leaving the poor wife and kids all on their own would be justified

Re: T-mobile has them on the floor

Let me ask you guys a hypothetical question -

If there was a Note 4 GPE version (which means it runs stock Android and will get updates) for the same price (lets assume it would be sold on contract too), would you still get the Nexus 6?

Point I'm trying to make is stock Android is a really important feature and the fact that it doesn't work on oem phones is a big reason for buying Nexus. The other reason was the cheap price the last 2 years.

I still haven't had a chance to try it. The local store asked me to come back on the 19th.

Re: T-mobile has them on the floor

Nope. I have no issue with touchwiz and my Note 2 is only .2 inch smaller screen size. Note 4 does not offer enough for me to upgrade but the Nexus 6 is very compelling with extra .5 inch screen and on google feature. The stock android is preferred but not a reason for me to upgrade... That is without even getting into the build quality and cell radio not to mention speakers...

Re: T-mobile has them on the floor

If there was a Note 4 GPE edition, AND the same price (highly unlikely that the hypothetical device would be lower than standard) then yes I probably would. The better battery life, better camera, pen (although no software), and fingerprint scanner would be cool for me. Fingerprint scanner is the #1 thing I wished Nexus 6 had.

Probably not.... I had the Galaxy S3 and I am just not a fan of the physical home button..... Both my daughters have worn out the home button on their iPhones and I've seen people with worn out buttons on their Galaxy devices... Although to be honest I am on about a yearly upgrade schedule now so I don't know if that would be enough to wear it out.... If Samsung did away with the home button and shrunk down the bezel because of it and came out with a GPE phone it would be something I'd at least look in to, the only two reasons I passed on the Note 3 and Note 4 was the home button and Touchwiz..... See what they do with the rumored Note 5... if they go to 6 inch ultra HD and still have that home button and all that bezel.........................................

Unless you're just appalled with the Note 4 design or you somehow can notice .2 inches of screen, there's almost zero reason at that point not to get the Note. The display and camera are better. The battery may take a hit on a GPE device, though. Because it'd be the same phone with different software, the accessories will be much easier to find.

If I'm not mistaken, the Note 4 with the new Google app has the "On Google" feature that kid keeps ranting about. It has the hardware to do it.

It does have the hardware, and you can enable it in the software.

Unfortunately, at least for me, it doesn't work very well. Not sure why.

By "On Google" he means that you can launch it from anywhere. It's a new part of the new Google app. Not sure the Note has it available just yet, but it will.

DEMO Mode for Nexus 6 T-Mobile

I need to set up the demo model of our Nexus 6 (T-Mobile) and we don't have that info available to us until literally Wednesday when it's "released". It would be really great to find out the steps to enable demo mode now, because of constraints and inventory essentially being 0 at this point. Thank you.

Re: T-mobile has them on the floor

I apologize if this was already discussed, but is it clear whether TMO will carry both the 32 GB and 64 GB versions?
