I've found battery life on par with the note 4 with its smaller battery and bigger screen. About 5 hours of screen time and around 17-20 full time including standby

Ouch. There are reports that the Turbo's life doesn't match its specs. I'm waiting for the N review embargo to end to compare it's performance to the Turbo. Because if I can rule out the N based on reviews, I'll save myself what sounds like could be 2 months for the VZW release.

Why on earth won't Google or Verizon just announce that versions bought from other sources will (or won't) work on the Verizon network???

Really leaving Verizon customers in the dark. Classic Verizon. I hate them.

Well Technically Google has already said it works fine with Verizon................ They put in all the radios and LTE bands to work fine with it... But as usual it's in Verizon's court to "Certify it" for their network....... No telling how long that will take... What is the over/under for say January???

If you have a working phone and really want this, you'll wait. If not, you'll settle for something else and you really didn't want the phone. It's not the end of the world if you have to wait a month or two, people. I promise, everything will be OK.

I'll be the first to admit I have the mentality (and sense of humor) as a 9 y/o lol but I do have patience and understand want vs need. A concept which seems to be escaping people frequently these days

It's insane... I want to get it as soon as I can within reason.. I wouldn't pay $1,000 or more on Ebay for the right to get it a few days sooner... I would have gladly paid $20 for next day air vs free ground shipping as an example..... I got a preorder in with Motorola and they said it's suppose to physically ship tomorrow or Thursday... they said it ships ground from Texas so I should have by Friday if it ships on time.... I am okay with that.... even waiting until 11/19 that they say "Delivered by" on the order confirmation is fine....

That's not a bad idea. People will give you their life for an unused iPhone 6 or 6+. It's pretty stupid what people will do to get them. You'll probably make a profit also. I don't want to tell you what to do but I'd go that route.

I'm more of a dive in head first kind of guy and hope it's not too shallow or too cold kind of guy.... I'll buy it. Keep my Nexus 5 for a few weeks knowing I shouldn't have much of a problem unloading one if I do it in the next month... Shouldn't take longer than a week or two to figure out "This thing is just too big and not for me."

but I use to carry my Nexus 7 around with me and tether off my Nexus 5... I just got tired of carrying two devices all the time... So I am sure I'll be okay with the size....

The GS3 feels so much smaller than the screen size... LG did a great job on that device in the way they made it look and feel in the hand.... But the Moto X feels a lot smaller than it really is too.. So hopefully those designs make the Nexus 6 have that same smaller than it really is feel.....

it seems like even if verizon does sell it outright, it is worth it to buy an iphone 6 plus and make some extra cash off it. Why would people pay more on ebay than best buy etc.? lol

Speaking to a VZW rep about my account, I asked the "when will you have it" question.

He said it is NOT on his "coming soon list", which shows releases coming within the next 30 days.

I may just give up and get the Droid Turbo.......

I gave up and cancelled my verizon account

I was thinking of doing the same thing. It's a bit of a risk. For it to be worth it, you need to make at least $680 on a iPhone 6, 16GB.

Nexus 6 on Verizon when home, and travellng internationally often..

There are two versions of the Nexus 6 on Motorola's website and which version would you recommend?

I am happy with the Verizon services (discounts on top of my unlimited data plan) so I am unlikely changing to AT&T or T-Mobile.

I also travel internationally and would love to use the same phone when abroad. Local SIM cards are easy to buy when I travel.

Which version of the Nexus 6, XT1103 (Americas Model) or XT1100 (Global) would you buy and why?

If you look at both and compare the only difference is the band's in radio ....if you get international you won't get lte on vzw ...with north American version overseas you may not get lte ....look at the band's of where you travel....
